The Colorado Department of Health will give out 9 Million in grants for researchers to study the effects of MMJ and Recreational weed over the next 5 years. It's not enough money but it is a start. Among the studies are anecdotal reports that have found that marijuana can be effective in managing pain, tremors, nausea, inflammation, and other conditions. These will be honest research projects as opposed to some of the work done by NIDA (feds)
