I had a veiled chameleon for many years but he died awhile back. They are interesting for sure looks like you where lucky and found a pretty calm one. I might get a panther or jackson's one day. Looks like you have a nice size cage, its sad to see people cram them in little fish tanks. Is he an ambilobe panther?

they are awesome and yes hes a yellow bar ambilobe, They do require some attention especially at a younger age. But nothing crazy, my guy eats bugs and gets rained on twice a day. hes about 2.5-3yrs old and they only live to 5ish. Hes happy in his 2x2x4' cage with his t5 and heat lamp thx guys
