Cannabis law in czech republic

Ive been hearing tales about czech republic becoming another Netherlands.
Can someone give accurate info on the cannabis status in czech republic? Is it safe to grow? smoke/cook,distribute?

I'm afraid I'll disappoint you .. It's still prohibited, growing, selling, buying or keeping it in common. It's .. tolerated, small amount, sometimes :]

You'll be probably arrested for a long, long time .. Local Police departments are focusing on 'big ones' commercial growers (hundreds of plants etc.), but in the case of bad luck you can 'get' 5-10 years in prison.
Weed is just still illegal here, you have been warned :]

If policeman's will not be able to find any psychedelic material you can argue that you only like the cannabis flower
In the fact the law in Czech Republic forbids the addiction spreading, so the gowing of marihuana is not especially forbidden. But they have to prove to you that you are the consument of THC and they have to prove to you that you was liked to grow marijuana for the purpose of obtaining drugs!

Bullshit...u can get from 1-5 years prison...normaly first time 1 kw grow u not get even arrested ...if its a lot then u get from 2-10 years prison.and if its a lot and its organized and international then is 5-12 years in jail.usualyy u get the down amount or the middle..

@theclearspot... Wrong source. Not now. Couple years ago, local law could have interpreted as mentioned. The times passed away. If confiscated herbs containing level of THC higher than 0,something...shits happen.. No matter how much plants were cultivated

Yes... It´s means your growth would be considered as the production of forbidden and banned substancies and convicted accordingly. It´s depend the quantity and quality of the growth, of course personality of attorney and judge playing specific role too. From penal offence to criminal act. Does not matter, if you planting one or twenty herbs.

Thats interesting, I spoke to a lot of dudes at the Prague Cannafest last year and pretty much everyone thought that the 5 plant rule was still in place...obviously you guys on the ground there know the score. Hope to make the Cannafest this year too !

for 5 plants it s not a criminal act, but its act against the law, u will get a fatty fine.
