Cable Co. and "Noise"

Just got through with a visit from the cable co.

Obviously I put everything on idle.

Apparently there was a lot of "Noise" that ended up getting me shut off from cable.

Here's what I saw. I had cables not connected to anything and basically just rolled up. This was directly above my mini split. I think this is where the noise was coming from. I had the tech disconnect everything besides the internet (don't have cable) so only that is on my line and its a straight shot now.

Yes, I do run digitals.

Anyone else run into this?

Lumatek 3k air cooled ballast and a 600 Lumatek for Veg.

Because I went idle while the tech was present, I was unable to verify the issue was fixed.

They came back. Caught me off guard. There was no chance to go idle. They checked for noise on the outside of my house with a meter and I came back clean.

Thank fucking god. Feels like I just passed a drug test lol

That really has nothing to do with your ballast being an tech. Your most likely had a old line not in use that was cut on the other shield sending out noise.. that can be the reason.
