BREAKING: Bhang Chocolates Raided

UPDATE (1:50pm): NBC San Diego confirms that the raid was conducted by narcotics officers within SDPD and has posted a photo of the HazMat truck used in the raid.
UPDATE (12:30pm): FOX 5 San Diego reports that a SDFD Fire Rescue/HazMat team entered the warehouse at 8210 Engineer Road for a sweep before officers entered the building. That procedure is commonly used when law enforcement raids BHO extractors.
UPDATE (12:24pm): Med-West has updated their website with a notice that “Due to implications involving local law enforcement, MedWest is halting operations until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will provide an update once available.”
The Leaf‘s sources say that Med-West, a San Diego concentrate company which supplies the popular Bhang medicated chocolates brand, is being raided by an unknown law enforcement agency. Stay tuned for details as they come in.
