"A Canadian review of 9,000 patients found those who had taken a benzodiazepine for three months or less had about the same dementia risk as those who had never taken one. Taking the drug for three to six months raised the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease by 32 percent, and taking it for more than six months boosted the risk by 84 percent. Similar results were found by French researchers studying more than 1,000 elderly patients."

if anybody out there was looking for a reason to quit Benzos, id say thats a good one.

it will be a great day when people have a choice between these evil pills and Herb.

use to think benzos were a good choice recreationally, doctors prescribe them easily, and we use to cross into mexico to get a three month supply legally. Got caught trying to cross twice in one afternoon, didn't go over well. Might as well have Alzheimers while taking it, diazepam will really make you absent minded.
