Description:
AVGAS (Lebanese x AK x Russian auto)
This strain produces a dense resinous hard bud structure. This lady definitely needs to be respected because she has “two toke to oblivion” strength. A famous Kalashnikov strain has been reworked as an auto and enhanced with some white widow influences. Musty overtones from AK influence, it produces a stoney high. 70-74 days and up to 24” in height.

Has anyone grown this? Any pics? The description has me interested, I don't really like smoking so I like the potent stuff so I can get the same affect with fewer tokes. I make tincture too but don't always appreciate the duration.

Also I'm going to place an order after the freezing temps so I still have some time to choose, any other recommendations? I like weed at the end of a day as a reward. I look to strains that promote positivity, peaceful thoughts, happiness and relaxation/sleep. Probably looking for something with cbd in it as I heard it keeps the introspection down (getting stuck in my head can be an unpleasant experience) but don't know that I've ever experienced cbd even though I've grown strains that should have had some.

Don't get me wrong, rereading this sounds like I don't even like weed but I love it. I'm not even sure if any weed is different from any other weed I feel it affects me the same only difference is how potent it is I.e. how many tokes it takes to get me where I want to be but this is why I'm looking to try something different. I always read about there being differences yet I've never experienced anything different. The closest to noticing a difference with weed is when I'm smoking something else other than my RSC mazar offering I find myself missing it, even though I totally enjoy the other strain I start getting inpatient for the grinder to empty out so I can fill it up with mazar again.

My current favorite is a very potent mazar, half a hit and I'm happy, finish the chillum and I'm in space, but of course then I'm stuck in my head and that's miserable so I keep it below that. My Holy Grail would be the strain that delivered the body buzz and relaxation and let me keep my mental walls up but I don't think that exists, if weed didn't take while it gives it might be addictive lol.

So if you read this long rambling wall all about me and my problems (sorry!) and have a suggestion as to which strain I might be looking for in an auto regular variety offered by afterthought autos I'd love to hear it, thanks guys.

We've had folks purchase AVGAS directly from us that are not connected with forums and a few on here. As mentioned, how we described is what you get. Nice high stone from AK/Russian genetics. Lebanese bring out musky scent and height.

Try it....or not. Choices, choices.

Addendum: Sales going well this time of year for us.....haven't forgotten to send in SeedBay gear. Just busy with orders. No later than THURS, a send off of our "trio" to SB.

Mazar....A legendary strain grown in the far north of Afghanistan. Quite different than Russian gene pool, but grew that in the past. More recently a blue Mazar, large plant outdoors year before last.

Mazar and White Russian (which is part of AVGAS), it lends a heady high due to White Widow and the AK intertwined.

Comparing Mazar to Russian genetics is a long stretch to find similarity. For example Grapes. Some are Flame, Muscat, Almeria, Niagara and Concord while others are wine varietals...Cabernet Sauvignon, Médoc, Merlot, Pinot Noir (my fave!) Zinfandel, Syrah or Shiraz. Malbec. Tempranillo.

Enjoy one, enjoy them all!! That goes for Mazar, AVGAS, Herer (love those), Hazes, yup! Glues and heavy indica knockouts....the many Kush's, G-13, Death Star.

Worth mentioning, my nephew who sent me Jelly Breath, famed Seattle strain, recently sent me Oregon Pinot Noir from the Rogue River Valley. Next on the grow list, a heavy purple strain. Yum!!!

While AVGAS isn't robustly tall, it's great for concealment (in-between tomato, chile plants, many have told me) and responds perfectly to LST. Can't complain with a 2 foot two toke wonder!!

I grew AVGAS outdoors (mid may - early aug) a couple of summers ago along with several other autos from Afterthought and other sources. I was shocked when none turned out male (wouldn't have minded some pollen). The AVGAS and all the autos were very easy to grow. The buds on the AVGAS started out tight and ended up a bit airy. It was very sugared w/ trichomes. Kept a lot of leaf when harvested. After a 30d cure I thot it was a dud. With a bit more cure it turned into the 2 hit wonder Aridbud describes. While not my Holy Grail of Cannabis it is very good pot.

my AVGAS notes: took right off, became very large, 2.5'+ w/ good branching and lots of bud sites. buds looked like LB (in it's genes) and were dense and large. at harvest airy buds, stayed very sticky after hanging for 2 1/2 days(longer than usual due to humidity and trich density). these buds remind me of lettuce bolting, they were dense then as they matured became airy. excellent yielder for an auto 2 oz. (I had grown a HfH Lebanese(LB) the previous year)

I have grown many Afterthought auto and photo plants from seed and all have had very good potency.
