Not sure this is the best idea from the not introducing unwanted microbial life into the system point of view.
Depends on how clean you keep your toilet, I suppose.
The fresh res always had a dose of h2o2 and I never had much in the way of issues, just always slimy sides on the buckets that annoyed me. The toilet was a pee only ensuite one. No pooping next to the bedroom please.
I have heard of folks who save their pee to make teas for plants.
I suppose you could dump the roots in a bucket that hasn't been pooped in?
As long as it's nice n humid in their, they should be fine.
