I only had 2 days at the house before we ran off again to the mountains for the rain. Then stayed there to get the tax stuff assembled and numbers compiled. I think we'll finally head back for at least 3 days if not more and I can assess things. View attachment 19187163

Little Nova sitting in the parking lot. Hood scoop and small wing. Has to be a 74 or later from the fat impact rear bumper. 73 was front only and 72 had tiny rails.
If it's a 75 or newer t's still got to pass smog test every 2 years. Has to have all the correct smog pump, lines and air cleaner. 300 feet of rubber vacuum lines.
That grill would make it a 76 or 77. My brother had a 77 Nova.

How are those winter flowers coming along? Did you do any feeding during flowering?

Happy Easter and April 20! :smoke:
No, this set has been neglected like the set before. Good feeding in veg but really nothing since the flip.
With the recent weakness in my left arm and the pain if I use it for more than blowing my nose limits what I can do still. I can't carry a 5-gallon bucket of juice so It's a quart at a time and I hobble from bucket to plants over and over. Even that wakes the arm so it's a right hand and no cane deal and hard work.

Yard plants on the 8th.
Lamps are on 24-0 as I run all my veg stage plants. Lights will go off on Aug 1st.

Clones taken on the 6th.
Koda, Gor, CM, Jack, Chunk.
A month sooner than I usually take but with things still off schedule I'm overlapping more than I used to.

“The American Dream”, the biggest lie of the 1800’s.

Do you know the communist that started that bs?

Everything looks good except the trimming of the leaves. Why? That’s all the plants have to breathe and take is moisture until roots grow.

From experience, the larger the clone the faster the roots.

Cheers!

Sounds really tough. They'll be alright. How many more weeks do they have until harvest? How are the flowers coming along?

The surviving Clones did get a shot of Alaskan fish goo and it woke them up and put the move on them.

The purple plants outside the garden are the gifted seedlings and the green clones inside the fence are a pair of Sativa leanings and I'll have to dig back in the thread and bring the names forward. Harvest will be June 1st unless they say otherwise.

Loaded up the free candy van and took in just shy of 1000 lbs of wine bottles as well as the usual plastic and aluminum recycling. $98.00 for the glass alone. It'll give me change back from the full tank of gas I put in the thirsty piglet.

Stump pulling gears and even poking along at 50mph she drinks a bit for a 302cid. You can hear the connecting rods a knocking when she first starts before the oil pressure comes up and the auto transmission whines like a jar of pissed off hornets in 1st and reverse.

Power steering has that god awful pump screeching if you need to crank the wheel sitting still. Brakes work when they feel like it. I get offers to sell it near every time I drive it. LMAO.

Boat neighbor on the docks walked off from it at the peak of Covid-19 when he fled Ca. for S.C. Was going to let the city tow it if I didn't want the old girl. Free running cars old enough that no smog test is required? Aww sure. That fact alone is worth about 5k here.

Going round and round with the veterans admin. My Heart Surgeon put in the usual request for CT scan and 2nd follow-up appointment on the stent he installed 8 months ago.

Now the VA is dragging their feet and wanting the scan and follow-up done in house. Wait, Hold on. You didn't do the work. Your CT scanner is 30 years old and 2D.

I want the guy who installed the damned thing to inspect his work TYVM on a new model CT machine 2 decades newer with 3D imaging.

Honestly, It's getting so I don't trust the VA to pass out aspirin.

Looking great! Those purple ones may be close to done. Neat to see the phenotypes, very indica Deep Chunk dominant structure. How many weeks along have they been flowering?

They are quick finishing plants and start being ripe and harvestable about the 4th week of September which is around the 45-50 day mark. It will have some variation, but may do some taste tests to determine if its ready. Can you use a vaporizer since you can't smoke? Letting it ripen will help gain yield though and potency may sweeten up. :smoke:

Nice looking plants my friend. I remember when you got that beast of a van. Do you ever talk to your buddy that used to plant sit for you anymore? I also remember when you had to get it towed because the water pump failed on it. That van body still looks in very nice condition. I bet someone out there would love to bring that back to 100% mechanically.

My partner talks to TTS's sister on the regular but he's not replied to any of my texts.

The cool temps will bring out the colors on many strains when grown in the off season here in So Cal.

Flipped / lights off on March 15th if memory serves. 10 and 10 weeks is my usual plan.
I still smoke more Hash than I should. :)

The 6 clones spent the night in the midpoint garage. We'll head to the beach today and I'll get to check on the yard plants.

Dinner last night at the SGV neighbors with pulled pork butt, tater salad & baked beans. She sent home enough pork for 10 meals as she's leaving for a week.

Cool, pork butt shoulders are like candy. Wonderful, just have to separate some of the fat.

Clones are pulling through! What are those clones of? Can't wait to see the garden. Got some starts planted out in the garden now for fall harvest. What is being planted out there for fall harvest?

Woke up with my back totally FUBAR and that put a huge crimp in my get-along. Was all I could do to load the clones in the car.

I see my spell check is working again. When I commented on it the other-half piped up with theirs was screwed too for 3 days so it was something winders-11 did.

I knew the Indica seeds :)-)) I gotten were fast finishing but the last few days of scorching heat while we were up on the mountains put a serious hurt on them and some are half dead, dried and while not crunchy crisp need to come down right Fing now.

And my back hurts. CRAP! I mean it damned well HURTS! FRACK! Well, it'll only get worse, and more losses so drug up old one and get on it. Let's see what I've got.

2 hash capsules, a hydrocodinesomething/Tylenol and another 500mg of ty. Got 2 plants done and found way too many caterpillars so I stopped and broke out the BT and sprayed the rest of the standing plants.

I'll take the rest of the outer ring purple Indica plants and let the Garden 4 run on as they only show a hint of damage. It looks like I caught it soon enough. Stupid me I should have started spraying on 4-20. Ya get old and complacent and bad shit happens. I don't have to spray the Jan 1st harvest or the March 15th one.

So, the damage was a combination of that Saturday of record-breaking heat and the caterpillars having a field day in the high heat and no BT in sight. They talk about "Anesthetic fog" and I'm well aware of it having been gassed / knocked out 5 times now. My fault not spraying as I've been down that burn it all road before with the little crawling bastards. "SHITTERS!"

The well flowered out seedlings I ruthlessly hacked the tops off all but the lowest pair of branches have turned the corner of re-veg under 24-0 light and more than half are cranking along really well. They should be well matched in size with the Clones for me to choose the best to fill out the space.

Those catties sure do suck. I believe moving my zapper a few hundred feet away from my plants helped a lot last season. That and of course my IPM with BT once a week.

Sorry to hear about your back, hope it gets feeling back to normal! Bad back can be super limiting!

The indicas get hungry and thirsty in flower and can be somewhat demanding or they can get yellow leaves. Not too surprised. At least there are a few lower budsites on them! Yeah probably should be harvested soon if possible.

Must have been hot, the leaves are really perked up and folded in half on the 2nd one!

The more sativa leaning plants are very lightly touched with just a handful of browned tops so the Indica plants were bait. I usually see damage on the new bougainvillea leaves when the catties start but inspection didn't find a single nibbled leaf.

Ya I kept finding adult purple fan leaves high on the plant that were just sun fried. No amount of watering would have prevented it.

I need to hang the zapper as I want the remaining plants to run out to the end of the month if they are willing.

I need a fresh bottle of BT for here and one for the cabin as the deciduous oaks are leafing out and I can already see damage. We sprayed out the rest of last season's BT bottle before we left the mountain with the syphon-X and a pressure nozzle.

Great test, 95 F is pretty hot for late flower I guess! We need guys like you to breed with it for a few years to get the line adapted to your heat! Most indicas may have that issue I would guess, especially since it had cold weather previously and just burst with heat at the end of flower. May not be that sensitive when flowered in late summer.

Yes not all strains take the lengthening days and rising heat of a spring harvest well and bolt like a head of lettuce let go to long.

Caterpillar damage. They cut the bud top loose from the stem. The dead will pull free with minimal effort and some digging in the wound will find the little squirming bastard.
