It just really depends upon what strain I grow in them, bud taste and potency bounces back and forth from strain to strain…………the buds that you see in my gallery come from a very mild strain and would probably be good for someone just starting out but not much for the veteran smokers; but on the other head the AK’s and H.D.F’s that I’ll be growing out this year will be the boom!!

Supp BCH, well it’s like this……GL told me that I couldn’t have any more space on the sever…..well not in so many words but he did say that if I wanted to post newer pic’s I would have to delete some of the older one’s, sorry but that’s just the way it is?

So every one that has been enjoying the Bio-Shot Photos you better look it over because I’ve already deleted a great deal of them and going to be doing more……….I’ll also be removing some of the links in my seg because there’s no more photo’s in them or what is ant much.

But the good new is there well be some new one’s to look at or I think any way? It does seem not far that the photo’s in the sticky/threads be counted against you but I guess that’s the way it go to.

BigToke.... Hey man... here's an idea that should solve your storage problems.

Create a new IC Mag account... ummm say... BigTokePics...
Load your new images to that account... and just reference the same images when you post as your regular nickname.

Should solve a problem... your threads are amongst the best here... and the pics help make it that way.

Just my two cents...

Hey, BigToke.

sorry to hear about your gallery headache.

i have a question about when you transfer your plants from soil to the BioBuckets.

how do you properly do this?

thanks.

Hey Maistre, I see were your coming from but I may upset some folks if I start making up double registering stuff and besides that I don’t want to go through all the trouble you what I mean………I have learned a great lessen though; do NOT put a bunch of pic’s on this server unless your willing to go back and remove them all to be replaced with new one’s, that’s a pain in the ass!! It would seem that if some one was willing go give you that much room to put your pic’s in and then to just turn right around and teal you your going to have to delete some? One be one!!! That sucks!! But as I said that’s the way it goes,……better look at them while you can!!

Hey Sleepy, how’s it going didn’t know that you had a Bio-System up and running………well anyways, I don’t transfer my plants from soil to the Bio-Buckets, the plants you see are my mother plants and I keep them soil and take cuttings off of them and put them in the system……..hope this helps, if not just ask again.

BT... It might be a pain... but... it is a possible solution. I've seen threads where admins have mentioned people having multiple nicks and it didn't seem an issue. In this case it's to preserve reference content and not to deceive others... surely that can't be wrong.

There are thousands registered here... all with allotted disk space and in reality most just never use that space. When you break it all down... there are not that many active posters and even fewer that post reference works such as yours.

It would be nice if you were given Mentor status AND increased storage spaces... surely your tutorials and work merit that.

The whole purpose of this site is for learning... sharing and growing... seems disingenuous to create such nice growing guides to have them crippled over some anal decision on disk space. Kinda like shooting yourself in the foot. I hope this does not become like OG where so many great threads have been destroyed and made useless.

Sorry about the rant BT... but... I just had to say that stuff.

You rock and I hate to see anyone that gives so much for others to get slapped with some limitation that destroys what this site was intended for.

Thanks for the support Maistre, the whole idea behind all of my posting, pic’s and documentation was to give others the best possible support at growing there own stuff and to enjoy it while they do it, that’s a great feeling but I’m not going to go to all the trouble of making an extra nick just so I can store more photo’s I just post what I can it would be nice if some one on the inside could help a fella out exceptionally cents all I want to do is help others out to……….but you never no about this kind of stuff there hands may be tied? Never the less I’ll keep the photo’s in the sticky/thread as long as they don’t get in the way of my newer/threads………..Maistre I ant going no were!! I love this place as I’ve said before most every one here is like family to me I will help as many as I can for as long as I can it’s just a whole lot better when you can help people and show them at the same time.

Thanks for the support FJ, that means a lot!!

Well ok, so BT is running about two weeks behind I’ll not go into all of that but here’s were I’m at so far, I took cuttings the day before yesterday the 7th and they should be ready to go into the Bio-System on the 21st maybe before, so here’s what I’ve done so far ~ I took 18 Clones from the H.D.F & 18 Clones from the AK-47, they are in Oasis Cubes covered with perlight on a heated tray ~ going to grow them out side-by-side that should be interesting for sure!!

Pre & Post Specks Updata!!

Pre & Post Specks Updata!!

BigToke has liftoff!! <.^.> yesterday I placed eighteen H.D.F & AK-47’s in the Bio-System for a total of thirty-six plants!! Transfer was complete it seemed as thou they immediately begin to love there new home ~ standing straight and staring at the sun!! (grow bulbs)

Lava rocks were washed and was placed in net-pots and the net-pots were set in the bottom of each bucket and the whole Bio-System was filled up and ran for 24 hours lava rocks & Bio-System were sterilized at the same time with H202. ~ After the 24 hours flushed the Bio-System TWICE!! (all of this was done before I filled the system up and let it run for two weeks)

Just a little pre-specks (bio-system before clones go in) rundown:
  • I have always filled the Bio-System and take my cuttings at the same time ~ usually takes two weeks for cuttings to root ~ by that time the Bio-System has had maximum time to populated itself.
  • Source of water that was used ~ tap-water is always used in my Bio-System!! The (pH) of my tap-water this time was 7.6 ~ ppm’s were at 130. ~ Water temp 75 degrees ~ Room temp at 80 degrees.
  • Two hours before I place the clones in the Bio-System I adjust the (pH) to 7.0 & the ppm’s to 400 and them place clones in Bio-System.
Now lets go over some of the post-specks (bio-system after clones go in) of the system:
  • I adjust the lights to were there three foot above the clones. (after two weeks I lower the lights to two foot above the clones.) (I use HPS lights)
  • After a couple of hours I check the (pH) again ~ the nutrients should bring down the (pH) just a little bit ~ and it did, the (pH) was now at 6.8 ~ no problem!!
  • I leave the water temp at 75 degrees for 25 hours and then lower to 72 degrees ~ then at flowering I will lower to 68 degrees until harvest.
  • I will let the room temp get any were between 80 to 90 degrees for the first week ~ after that, between 80 to 87 ~ then at flowering I will lower to 75 to 80.
Some things to think about when running two deferent strains in the same system ~ nutrient tolerance for each strain will be deferent, so it’s up to the grower to find a good balance between the two ~ you don’t want to over feed one and under feed the other!! So find a good balance is up to you!! This will require more time in the grow-room than I’m used to but sacrifices must be made in order to get quality bud’s!! and that is a must!!
