I really want to reveal how I feel (you prob could guess) but don't want to bias the results. I thought it would be an interesting topic and one I wondered about for a while now. How much age difference is too much (let's assume both parties are at least 18)?

The rule women go by is half your age plus 7... so, if you're 30, it would be 15 plus 7, 22.

Max. I've heard is 'Sammy', retired prof. & world traveller, who at age 65 married a 20-something woman in Thailand. They live there and now there is a little Sammy. It seemed like the relationship worked. I met Sammy when he was visiting a former colleague in SF.

Guy at the local hardware store, Vietnam vet. 70+. Real good shape. Wife 35 ish, been married about 10 years.

I have a theory about Viagra that may relate to the age difference subject.

I'm 40, and my gf is 25. We met when I was 36 and she was 21. I don't know if an age difference between adults is ever too much. It's all about how two people connect and relate to each other.

Maybe it's too much in Hugh Hefner's case, marrying someone 60 years younger. Maybe.

Depends on if you're talking about a relationship or just getting laid. Also depends on the age groups involved.

Generally speaking, there is a big difference in a 60 yr old dating a 40 yr old compared to a 40 yr old dating a 20 yr old.

Happily Married 15+ years. I'm in my early 60's, Wife is in mid 30's ( approx. 25 year difference )

There are definitely some strong considerations that in my opinion should be talked about prior to taking the leap. We did and also lived in a foreign to both of us country for a year on the side of a mountain over looking the ocean getting to know each other better which was a terrific way to build a foundation for the future.

In the future people will live to 100 and beyond regularly. 120 year old guy going after young 60 year old hottie.

Guys in particular want women in their prime physically. If an 80 year old or for that matter, 800 year old guy could get a 20 year old woman, many would choose that over someone their own age.
