1- researchers from Boston's Childrens Hospital, in collaboration with Duke University, have isolated a new antibody called SPI-77, which neutralizes all known variants of Covid-19 in tests. from SciTechDaily.
2- on another front, researchers are moving from lab tests & studies in rats to human testing on another approach to cancer treatment. the method being used, called "histotripsy", uses ultrasound waves focused on the tumor & break it up without invasive surgery, similar to what has been done RE kidney stones. so far, after destroying what could be done with the sound waves, the bodies own mechanisms/defenses have finished the job with no further metastasis. it is being used on human liver cancer patients at the moment.
