i think google sharing can slow things a bit, if the servers are overloaded. but a quick click disables it.

Just a little note: If you use Google Sharing and are wondering why it's not working with Firefox 4, it's because the Add-On hasn't passed Mozilla yet. Moxie announced today that they submitted it and are just waiting for Mozilla to give the thumbs up.
