They use bacteria to produce insulin, human growth hormone,etc. But unless a person knows what
they are doing and can purify the end product it's best not to try it. Bacterial poisoning isn't fun.

What baffles me is Terrence McKenna eating magic mushrooms and some freak fungi grew and took over his brain. Were the spores on his good shrooms?

We al know about zombie ants right? The fungus that gets in their heads and takes over there bodies. Makes them pig out, then hang from a leaf where the fungus grows out from their head and spreads across the forest floor.

They have modified a mold to attack fire ants now. The ant's are so cautious of it, they no longer carry out their dead.
Seems a good idea doesn't it. Modifying molds to kill things. Keeping in mind that mold can literally use ants as the walking dead.

We might think the genome is understood enough to be playing god, but that just shows how clueless we are.
