room bombed ,,,,
22 potted up in Light Mix and seeds in water ,,,,
seeds going in tomorrow ,,,,

pots nice and heavy,,,,
300w cfl about 10-12 in away,,,,
see how often I need to mist the topsoil before I move them up although the 300w cfl runs pretty cool but 300w is still 300w for the babies so care needed,,,s2

First few are popping the heads out the soil ,,,,
so around three days to show after a night in water,,,
expect the others to follow by the weekend if not before,,,
my best friend during seedling stage ,,3 litre mister,,

22 were popped and we have 22 back,,,,
thought I was one down until I realised I put two beans in one pot,,
something I’ve done many times over the years and no doubt will do again ,
a few are hardly visible in the pics but they are there,,,,s2

that empty pot bothered me ,,,
Why 21 back but not 22 ?,,
I gently removed the top of the light mix like one of those Archaeologists lol,, and moved the soil around and just couldn’t find a bean so assumed it had gone much lower so grower error,,,
I love the seedling and veg stages ,when the room has a few varieties and there all young,, happy and healthy before the inevitable ,,,,

I have around 21 with one that needs transplanting in to another small pot,,
I have 2 in the first pics that just give up ,no reason and I will continue and see if there just a bit slow,,,
Thinking it’s kinda like a natural selection as I only had 22 for starters but it appears I had 23 in total,,,,

hope to transplant into 10 litre pots by midweek next week,,,,
still waiting to transplant one until it’s a tad stronger but will be done by this weekend and one other that’s slow but I will persevere with her,,

I hit them with great white and another product a brother sent over from Humbolt that is apparently marvellous when transplanting into big pots,,,
300w CFL moved down a few inches as seedlings dont dig the cold imo,,,,s2
