2 month old autos. Not sure if they are in Flowering stage or if they are still in veg/pre-flower

Hi there. I’m growing 4 autos. 2 white widows and 2 red congelese. This is my 2nd attempt at a grow.

I started LST about 4 weeks into veg, and they appear to be growing healthy. But I am noticing white pistills more and more across each plant. Today, they are 10 weeks old, but I cant tell if I should switch to flowering nutrients yet or wait a bit longer.

They are growing in 3 gallon pots with Happy Frog soil. I have been giving them 20-20-20 water soluble nutrients once every Friday for the last 4 weeks. I am using 600 watt LEDs with the veg(blue light) and bloom (red light) options both turned on as of today. Previously, I was only using the blue light. The light hangs about 14 inches over the plants.

Based on the pics, any advice on

1) if they look like they’re flowering yet, or still just pre-flowers?

2) And if so, do you think a 10-30-20 nutrient mix is good for early flowering-harvest? (Looking at a brand calles Jack’s)

3) Does my grow light look like its too high up or should it be closer to the plants in this stage?

Also, any general opinions on how they look overall is appreciated.

Thanks in advance 😊

They look fine. You’ve got multiple bud sites so all about just letting them fill out. The white hairs will go brown or orange and the bud will swell around the hairs. I’d say post pics again in a fortnight and then people can tell you how much longer you’ve got to go or pm me or tag me in. I check in here pretty much every day. All looks fine though. I would switch to flowering nutes now. Don’t add too much or be tempted to think that giving loads of feed will improve the bud, it won’t.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely post again in the future to show progress and shoot you a pm. And i’ll switch to flowering nutes 1x a week from here on out

Hey @Stizo ! So here we are 2 weeks later. They’ve had 2 feedings of flowering nutes. Think they have some more time to go?

@ShakeraSweets Yo dude. Yeah. You can see they're doing well but still covered in white hairs. Still a week or two off. Thing with autos is at the end they fatten up quite quickly so check back in in a week. Even when they look fully ready you can still give them half a week or a week. Just watch out for bud rot. Kepp checking the buds for mould. Make sure the room isn't over humid or too much water sitting around in the room. Doing well there.
