7th grow. Seeds from previous grow, Waterfarm,T5 lighting

Well I finally ran out of weed it's only been close to 3 years.
5/30 Selected seeds 12 total drop in a cup of RO water for 24 hrs and place in a dark warm place.
5/31 Seeds sank to the bottom of cup mostly cracked showing white root tips, transfer to moist paper towel.
6/1 Seedlings now sprouted with 2-3 inch roots, prepared Waterfarm buckets for seedlings. Transfer seedling straight to hydroton, no rockwool or anything.
6/4 14 hr light cycle trying to save on electricity. Went to Dollar Tree store changed all household bulbs to 9 watt LED, only buck each.

Waterfarm pump on 24 hrs until seedling get established and then on every 1/2 hr, also Oscillating fan on every half hour. Found best not to use Rockwool causes too many problems, root rot, toxic build up hampers growing..

8/13/18 Reconfigured the lights one last time and switched out to full bloom bulbs..

Shows remaining vertical space.

Gave them more space..

Solution Mixing area..

Checking E.C, pull down hose to tubberware container to sample or easy change out or remix with cold R.O water to reduce temps..

Thanks DS, I sure hope so and reward me with some huge buds time will tell.. 3 weeks of flowering done..

I'm thinking about building a trellis using some 1 1/2 X 1/2 X 8 ft pine wood and attaching it to the 2X4 grow room frame making a rectangular box frame and attaching the trellis on to that, maybe 3.5 or 4 inch spacing make it right where I bent the main tops or a little lower..

Still got to defoliate soon..I got get off my lazy stoner ass

I'll go to our local Ace hardware store see what they got..

8/16/18 No Trellis netting, they had no idea about it, ended up using some kind of universal plastic netting one inch squares 24 inch by 25 ft $13.99, spend a few hours cutting out to larger squares pretty tough stuff, will redo it once this grow ends..

You can see in my pictures I'm using the last good pair of these bought 3 pairs down to one pair, they each got a strong tywrap to relive some of the pressure hope it works. 150 lbs lol couldn't even handle a 6 bulb T5 before cracking, body should really be made out of at least pot metal...

Freaking hot weather unbelievable I filled each bucket to the line every day close to lights out. This morning I went to check them and somehow lost 7 gallons all 6 buckets combined to fill one five gallon bucket and of course E.C shot up too, some well over 2.00. Gave them all new solution water temps cold down in the high 50 degrees range 1.2 E.C..

Reused old reflectix..Poke small holes all around easy to see water pooling up and draining away, so no plugged drip hole surprises. No:4 Bucket need her own air pump massive root system clogging things up, can no longer drips using the Blue stone pump line..Draining is also very slow from the tube and doesn't take too much solution before filling up..

Hopefully will keep solution colder longer and stop some evaporation..Also added a small piece to finished to close the coffee container loop to contain the clay balls from rolling out..

Filled 2 plastic grocery bags with leaves..

I do a light defoliation not too aggressive..

Trellis netting placed exactly 58 inches from the pond liner floor...

Looking really good! This is a great journal. I really like the way you have pictures almost every day, it really helps showing the growth over time.

Thanks agent pothead, just trying to liven thing up around here. I pulled the smallest female the one I thought would have been one of the biggest since she had her own container from the start..
Plant No:1 the one on the stand, pulled out and dusted in the bathroom..3 year old pollen I let it sit until it got to room temperatures before applying.

Every bud site was dusted for seeds..I doubt it I'll get any seeds, But I have used pollen over an year old and got seeds so will see, not all bananas are fertile only a few, just hoping I have some in the mix.

Be awesome if I got a lot seeds knowing it's good up to 3 years..Defoliation what defoliation? I took a lot from the bottom on up and all large main stem fan leaves removed, except near the top hard to remove good solar panels, but will have to if I want more light to the buds.

Some more mods, still have evaporation problems with this heat and solution warming up faster than I liked due to it being drawn up and expose to the elements and heating up quickly, Wind, heat and light.

Might as well put the used reflectix to good use..Will have to lift it to check for plugged holes once in awhile. Root Rot what's that?

8/20/18 Electricity bill this month was $146.85 not too bad..

I'm going to pick bananas from this crop and apply them to the Gorilla plants once I get those going and if I get those seeds. Old School mated with New School..

Dusted female back where she belongs front and center...

8/21/18 Four weeks into Flowering day 28. 91 Days from seeds...

Been cleaning up the bottoms getting rid of the larf stuff.

Pulled the smaller side branches unable to reach the top over to the side lighting, will grow buds on the side and used the trellis netting for support with twist ties..

You can see a cushion on a square bucket in the grow room where I sit and look up to see the blockage and remove leaves and budsites that's not going to produce much.

You don't need no fancy LED's or expensive HPS system to grow trees. I do it using T5's ...
Some random Pictures from my previous grows using T5's..Check out my previous grow Albums..

Imagine If this big Bitch didn't get root rot my fault used too much sea-crop fried it.. damn it... Next time..defoliation? What's that? The one next to it half size is my avatar pic plant..

Imagine the roots, jammed pack in there..

1st time really scrogging, defoliated some more..

Another 5 weeks to go..Finishes around 70 days..

Some shots from underneath the canopy..

Used a piece of Mylar to enhance side lighting..

Thanks LC, only really loud pump is the 20 watt O2 Commercial Air Pump, but it's not that loud and is in the other room so, not so bad even though I set it to run 24/7 t'ill harvest. I will update later tonight for the 6th week..Doing some more mods to tweak the grow room trying to get the grow room cooler. I'll be posting once a week t'ill harvest, Saving disc space for the next grow Dosidos
Average THC: 25%-28% percent
Note: Easy to cultivate
Pros: Bountiful yield
Cons: Too potent for some
