This simple observation has me keeping a close eye on this tent and hoping that I can get the best terpene and resin production from these genetics by positioning the CMH @ a spot that gives enough intensity without too much heat.

My temps never went up too high, so the quality only suffered a little (some strains handle warmer temps better than others). With that said, my plants might not yield as heavy but they will be more resinous and better overall.

So first the qualifier...in my opinion so take this for what you think it is worth. You have a soil that you can work with for sure.

Your immediate issue is high k and Na, which is causing your pH to be over 7. These will work themselves out pretty quickly through being taken up by the plant/leaching. But in the meantime they will prevent proper uptake of Ca and Mg which will make your cell walls weak and slow your photosynthesis

Your plants will be a little more susceptible to insect problems early on. But not terrible so don't panic just be on the lookout and have some organic remedies ready or do a little bit of preventative spray.

So step one (imo) is get some bacteria in that soil so pH around the roots will have lower pH, improving takeup of the base cations and micros. I would highly recommend Tainio's Spectrum Extra to help you lower the Na while providing the biology. Then early on I would say spray Ca and Mg to get them past the soil tie ups. I would choose Albion Metalosate Ca along with a bit of B and Photomag...but a lot of things would work as well so don't stress over brands here.

I would also water to run off a few times to help leach Na and K.

Second you have some micro shortages. Other than the Mn they probably won't affect yield but will limit quality a little bit. I would spray a general micro product along with a bit extra Mn...I use AEA but again lots of brands will work.

Because of your high P targeting Michael's P:micro ratios is a good idea but go slowly over a few grows so as not to overdo it. Use the foliar as a crutch while you build up soil levels.

Lastly managing N is a major part of yield and quality (converting nitrate to protein in the plant) that doesn't get talked about a lot on the forums.

Anyways suffice it to say you want enough N to keep the plants green throughout. So you want to keep some fast acting nitrogen around. I prefer the amino/peptide sources...Ferti Nitro or the fish one that a lot of people use. These require less energy for the plant to convert to protein.

If you want more details let me know

The local library was a comfortable place to browse icmag... It is disheartening to see the library's reason for blocking the website :/
