Hazy Daze of Summer
I have never done a journal before and figured I would at least check it out so this will be the documenting of my third grow. My first grow and second grow linked.
So I don't always think as well as I should and in this instance it led me to crack ten haze beans, five each of Arjan's Haze x Cinnamon (server fund) and Sam the Skunkman's Original Haze x Skunk 1 (freebies)
I did not know when I popped them that haze strains are sativas, I always thought they were indicas but I don't know why, just a stupid assumption on my part.

Arjan's Haze x Cinnamon
Sam the Skunkman's Original Haze x Skunk 1
2/10/2010 - watered all seedlings about 1/3 quart per plant
2/13/2010 - watered all seedlings about 1/3 quart per plant
3/15/2010 - Watered with straight water about 1 quart per plant.
pH tested water - 7.8, added 5ml pH down to 3 gal water - 3.4, added 2 gallons back of unpHed water - 6.4, dumped
New batch water - 7.6 added 1ml pH down to 3 gallons - 6.8, added nutes - 4.3, added 1 gal unpHed water - 4.5, dumped
Watered with 2 gal of straight unbubbled water, watered about 1 quart per plant, tested run off on H/SK #4, 7.7 in and 6.3 out
3/18/2010 - water with straight water at 8.1 pH, watered about 2 quarts per plant
3/20/2010 - Watered all plants using the following per gallon and watered about 1.5 quarts per plant; Buddha Grow - 10ml, Extreme Serene - 5ml, Trinity - 7.5ml, Ancient Amber - 7.5ml, Cal/Mag - 0ml, Hum-Bolt - 2.5ml, black strap molasses - 5ml
8.1 pH 3 gal water, added all nutes - 4.8, added 1ml pH up and waited 15 min - 4.8, added 1ml pH up and waited 15 min - 4.9, added 5ml pH up and waited 15 min - 5.2, added 10ml pH up and waited 15 min - 6.0, added 8ml pH up and waited 15 min - 6.6 added 2ml pH up and waited 15 min - 6.8
3/22/2010 - Watered about 1.5 quarts per plant, new batch water - 8.3, added 1.5ml pH down to 3 gal - 6.5, added back 1 gal water - 6.8. Watered H/Sk 4 with straight water pH'ed to 6.8, run off 6.4
3/24/2010 - Watered all plants with straight water, was pH'ed to 6.8 on 3/22 but was back up to 7.9, watered 1/4 quart per plant, to tired to deal with it tonight.
3/27/2010 - Swapped the molasses for Cal/Mag
Watered all plants using the following per gallon and watered about 1.5 quarts per plant; Buddha Grow - 10ml, Extreme Serene - 5ml, Trinity - 7.5ml, Ancient Amber - 7.5ml, Cal/Mag - 5ml, Hum-Bolt - 2.5ml, black strap molasses - 0ml
using 3 gal pH'ed water - 7.7, added nutes - 4.3, added 30ml pH up - 6.3, added 7ml pH up - 6.9, fucked up and had not added 3rd gal water back, added 3rd gal - 6.9
3/30/2010 - Watered all plants with straight water, was pH'ed to 6.8, watered about 1.5 quarts per plant
New batch water - 8.4, added 1ml pH down to 3 gal - 6.8
4/3/2010 - New batch water - 8.1, added nutes - 4.3, added 40ml pH up - 6.7
4/6/2010 - New batch water - 8.2, added nutes - 4.7, added 38ml pH up - 6.7
New batch water - 8.2, added 1ml pH down to 3 gal - 6.9, settled to 6.8 by end of watering
New batch 2.5 gal water - 8.2, added nutes - 4.6, added 40ml pH up - 7.8, added back 1.5 gal - 7.8, added 10ml BG - 7.2
New batch 2 gal water - 8.1, added nutes - 4.6, added 20ml pH up - 6.9
The H/C4 and H/SK2 are confirmed females. I made up a 5 gallon hempy bucket today and I think I am going to transplant one of the known fems into it tonight and move all the vegging plants into the flower room except the White Castle and the cutting.
I am thinking if I start flowering these hazes now I can crack a few new beans and veg them for 4 to 6 weeks and then put them in with the hazes to flower for 10 weeks.
Oh yes you may notice my pH target value being weird, yeah I have been shooting for 6.8 and should have been trying for 6.5.
