Well my beans are finally here!
50 days after ordering!
These are paid for seeds, nice and fresh, no excuses!
The seeds:
5 x Dinafem Big Kush - O.G Kush x Critical
- gonna germinate 3 to start
1 x Blimburn Girlscout Cookies - O.G Kush x Durban Poison x Grand Daddy Purple - Freebie - will use as a back up strain.
1 x Deliciou Seeds - Northern Light Blue Auto - Immediate smoke!
I will collect from Post Office in the morning and the journey will begin!!
I will document every step of the process in detail starting on day 1 - the day seeds are removed from packaging!!

Been a stressful time! Came close to throwing in the towel but have decided to persevere!
Veg area completely finished according to my needs and wants(permanent drainage table should be done by today)..
Clones in bubbler box, Gonna flip 2 largest trees into flower tonight(Big Kush #3 and Girl Scout Cookies)..
This will give some indication of quality of goods..
Also 1 month before next batch goes in(2 spaces) and time to increase spaces to min of 4...
some work to be done!
Will take some pics tonight and update tomorrow!
p.s at least we have taken the first step towards income generation and profitability!
A little disheartened, plants looking weak ass! the 37 days of neglect are really showing!
They were so perfect!
The new vegging space is only about 70% complete! Once again waiting on partner to fulfill his end of the bargain.
Permanent drainage table needs to be completed and proper height adjustable light fitting to be rigged.
having a problem with heat and humidity(closed bathroom) going to have to install an intake fan, this is gonna be a priority as we have about 7-10 days befrore clones are rooted.
The clones- Looking weak! We're weak to begin with! Will at least get 2-3 off every strain/pheno and will be able to keep strains alive and will basically start a fresh!
The vegging! Left kush #1 and #2 in veg! Looking terrible! Re-potted into 40l cloth hempy's(were root bound) fed well and trimmed. The air circulation is definitely hampering them and needs to be sorted a.s.a.p.!
1 month before they go into second flowering space so there is some time for a hospital job!
The flowering - 2 biggest, least damaged trees into flower! not perfect but now imperative to get a harvest. 2 plants Kush#3 & girl scout Cookies - 800x800 tent almost filled! hope to fill net once the stretch starts!
switched to flowering nutes, placed scrog net and did minimum training, will wait for growth to turn towards light then start pruning and training in earnest! 55 -60 days for Kush, 65-70 days for Cookies,
At least flowering times can be established, bud and smoke reports can be compiled inorder to determine pheno(of Kush).
So hold thumbs and watch this space!

Endless problems....
Plants are not happy!
They are fucking miserable!
heat and circulation is definitely a problem! Working on it!
I think we might have a bigger problem... I suspect a pathogen in our water supply(borehole) and if that's the case I forsee serious issues!
Will have to have water tested - big expense!
In the meantime, we are carrying on and will use existing plants as a control test... Airflow and circulation is being attended to.. I will ship in water from town to see if it makes a difference.
If it is the water the clones are pretty much screwed! If we can do a hospital job on the 2 remaining plants we can still clone and have A chance of keeping Big Kush strain alive(2 back up seeds in freezer)
The flowering plants - whatever they deliver - will have to be for personal consumption!
Seeing as I am always the optimist, I am gonna hydrate 5 x Pineapple express #2 seeds(G13 labs) and roll the dice 1 last time.
This is it, if I don't have success I will put all equipment into storage until I have my own premises!

This roller coaster is driving me crazy!
Definite improvement evident in all plants... heat stress being handled a lot better, new growth showing no signs of stress...
Touch wood but I don't think it is the water, the clones are rooting and at least strains and phenos will survive!
As it stands....
1. Clones
The Cookies clones like a champ 5/5 showing signs of roots - 1 died in first 4 days - top cuttings looking weak(reminants of heat stress) but should bounce back once potted and moved to vegging.
The Kush slower to root! #'s 1 & 2 should deliver 3 each #3(the strongest) already in flower only 1 rooted cutting - will have to preserve like gold!
2.Vegging
1 x Kush#1 & 1 x Kush#2 - looking stressed from heat, bit droopy but recovering nicely - new growth seems healthy - will strip damaged stuff off as we go - 3 weeks to remedy before cloning again and switching to flower.
3. Flowering
1 x Girl scout Cookies recovering nicely - seems to be my best bet at this stage - 1 week into flowering, starting to fill scrog net, bud sites appearing to turn to light and stripping off damaged shit as we go - looking a lot better!!!
4. The Bonus
1 x Fastbuds Blue Dreammatic - auto seed germinated in 3 days, planted into 10l hempy, fed 1/4 strength nutes. Will now go into vegging space for +/- 2 weeks then outside into supersoil - punted to have huge yields between 9-11 weeks - some smoke for me!
5. Breaking news
5 x G13 labs - Pineapple Express #2 hydrated, within 16 hours 2 of the beans have split and showing roots! Will place into roller towel to germinate today and hope to plant into 2l hempy's by Friday.
So all in all feeling a lot more positive...

Ventilation seems to be sorted, new growth seems healthy enough.
Plants in flowering are starting to stretch nicely, multiple bud sites are evident and new growth seems good in colour, waxy and healthy.
The 2 plants still in veg are recovering slower than those in flowering but steadily none the less...
2 weeks until they need to go into flowering, so space has to be readied!
The clones are looking poorly on top but much better at the bottom!
More cuttings than expected have roote and rooted well!
They will be planted tomorrow and veg stocks will be replenished!
The auto is idling along at 1/4 strength nutes, will go outside in the next 2/3 weeks...
Killed 5 x Pineapple Express seeds!!!!!
The auto is showing 3rd leaf whorl, planted 15 clones into 10l hempys and next 2 'flowerin plants" will be going in within next 12 days.
autos start out a little bit slower until there roots get more spread throughout the big container, but when they kick off boy do they kick off.
im also running autos / fem side by side and had the same observation in the early days you did super worried about its size and slow growth compared to my fems, but now about 25 days out..my god i have autos that look like day 40-50 fems
i have 25 autos and 10 fems going.
2 of the fems were started 2 whole weeks ahead of the others and at least 12 of the autos are much bigger and as of last night have the exact same nodes.
i think the no transplanting and bigger starting containers (5 gallon smart pots) is why they not only caught up but are actually a good amount bigger as well than the fems. (it also might just be straight up how autos work, this is first time growing autos so im still learning and according to the seed bank some of these autos should be harvestable after 60-70 days, so comparing autos to other types growth at all might be pointless idk)

Conditions seems to be dialed in, circulation and temperature controlled, lights and drainage functioning well!
The 15 clones are flourishing in their 10l hempy's, new growth is healthy and damaged leaves are all but gone.
1 pineapple express seed looks like it might survive.
The next 2 "flowering" plants will be going in in a week today, all damaged material has been stripped off and they might even produce a clone or two.
The money makers - Flowering plants are looking fantastic! Looks like I might even produce a reasonable harvest!
1st time flowering under CFL's and must say quite impressed so far, bud density will determine if it is working!
Pleasantly surprised by the Cookies! Bud development seems on par with that of the Kush even if it is said to finish in 1-2 weeks longer, surely that should increase yields?
I did my initial grow with auto's as I lacked cloning and vegging space, did super silver haze, bubbilicious and pineapple express, used 2l hempys and only harvested an average of 18g dry per plant - hardly worth the effort!
I feed the auto 1/4 strength nutes and will be planting it into a hole in the ground prepped with supersoil next Saturday and we will wait to see what happens

Let's start at the back end, the money makers..
Flowering #1 - 1 x Big Kush(#3) and 1 x Girl Scout Cookies
Looking fantastic considering what we put in - Plants were withered with lots of signs of heat stress etc
Kush has definitely pumped in the last couple of days clear that it will be quicker than the cookies, snow white hairs and the addition of critical 2.0 is evident hoping to have a decent harvest!
The cookies - Definitely slowed down in comparison to the kush, also hairs have a definite caramel/golden colour.. Closely grouped calyx hoping to deliver a reasonable harvest
Flowering #2 - 2 x Big Kush (#'s 1 & 2)
Flipped last night, looking scrawny and under developed but with less damage than 1st set of flowering plants..
Watch this space...
So finally have 2 flowering spaces and a functioning veg area!
This should now ensure a perpetual monthly harvest!
Vegging area not perfect yet, circulation and air flow can be improved but with the onset of winter this should alleviate some pressure for now...
Next objective is to get a mother space in order to separate, isolate and protect strains and produce max no of healthy clones.

Looking a little weak and definitely behind schedule to replace Flowering #1 in +/- 4/5 weeks..
Lowered lights, removed all damaged material and spaced a little better and hoping for exponential boost in next few weeks!!
The auto - 1 x Blue Dream'matic - going along slowly! Gonna plant into ground in supersoil on the weekend and hope for the best - personal smoke!
