Manga Rosa S1 X Haze

Manga Rosa believed to be a real 'Spiritual Sativa' strain, originates from north-east Brazil.

My Pheno with the Giant Colas had more of a Mango odor. The Hazier pheno smelled like Lemon Pledge and was a stronger buzz. Both were relatively low odor even after harvest. Breeder says pungent, soI'm sure those phenos are out there. Expect large fluffy buds, foxtailing, and heavy trichrome production. Great smoke for the Wake N Bake!

Big Buddha Haze I germ indoors April one and vegged until May 15, Flowering forced on that day and the 2 plants moved to the greenhouse. They basically stayed in preflower until early July and then took producing buds. The plants tripled in size after being trimmed at 1.5 feet. An early fall forced the plants back inside and under a 600W HPS set at 11 hours of light. Five days later the 1st plant was harvested with 50/50 clear/cloudy trichomes. Ninety five percent of pistils were brown. Plant is harvested when all pistils are brown and there is about 5% amber trichromes. The main description on this page is pretty much correct. I found that after three tokes the high was strong, but not an electrifying sativa. It does affect one's vision when playing pool or doing computer work.

Hey, Manga Rosa is a realy legendary strain here in brazil. But itīs really hard to come by with the real deal. Awsome smoke, make your forehead melt. Really old school down here. My father used to smoke this in the sixties, early seventies. Itīs funny because many strains had the manga(wich means mango in portuguese, oh well..) name because they smelled like mango afther being smugled in the fruit trucks. The ones that actually tasted like mango were really rare ones. Itīs nice to know that people are cropping this around, means that the gene pool wont disapear. Problably gona get some beans of these.
