CannaSutra is the flagship strain of Delta-9 Labs. This F1 hybrid has a good yield, a sweet aroma and a stimulating sativa high that retains the lucidity of its Reclining Buddha parent. While a stronger indoor performer, this strain can also be grown outdoors in moderate to hot climates. She likes lots of food, but is sensitive to overwatering. CannaSutra can be super cropped with ease and flowers in just under 10 weeks, putting on tremendous girth in the final two weeks. Its lime-green buds are loose and airy until the last week, when they harden and the calyxes swell with resin. The typical yield, about an ounce per square foot, seems to be consistent across growing methods, but this plant performs best when given root space and room space to develop multiple branches.

Strain Type: Indica 70 Sativa 30 Buzz: Clear-headed, uplifting
Taste / Smell: Distictly sweet
Flowering time: 65-70 days indoors End Oct outdoors
Parents: Reclining Buddha (mother) x Sensi Star (father)
Yield: 300-500 g/m2 (1-1 1/2 oz./ft.2) indoors

I grew Cannasutra and I was very happy with the result. If you read up on the Reclining Buddha at Kind green buds site you willget a very accurate description of whatthe Cannasutra will look like during the grow. Maybe there is more than one pheno and the others will look more like the Sensi star but mine all looked almost exactly like the Reclining Buddha description. Here is a copy of the main part of that description-"A fairly short plant, Reclining Buddha must remain in vegetative phase for a considerable amount of time to become a big plant. She also will not make a lot of side branches, and the ones that she does make tend to be smaller, a combination that predisposes this variety to do well with minimal effort in a sea of green set-up. Reclining Buddha’s buds are tight and narrow, allowing moisture to escape easier than short, thicker bud formations. Try this one outdoors, even in humid locations for a covert plant that delivers high-quality yield.

Buddha buds form many dark auburn hairs early.( I experienced this exact trait when I grew Cannasutra. If I wasn't aware that it got dark auburn hairs early I would have thought it was finishing early. It wasn't and I wasfortunate to see this description before I grew and therefore I waited her out.)When everything around it still has white hairs, Reclining Buddha’s hairs have turned a color that tempts you to harvest, but exercise patience. Reclining Buddha needs a full 9 weeks to reach maturity, and the high just gets better with the wait.

This medicinal quality cannabis has the taste of a sweet cherry candy and an uplifting creative high that is lucid and mentally stimulating."

I vegged my five Cannsutras for nearly two months and got three females and two males. I saved one of the males and used him to pollinate one branch eachon one of my Cannasutra females, one branch on a Blue Cheese female and one branch on a Chrystal female. All seeded beautifully and I got a nice amount of perfectly matureseeds from each one.

The Cannasutras can take a nice amount of food but watch your water. She doesn't really like to be overwatered. that's not to say she likes long dry spells either. Just give the amount she needs by watering until you get a small amountof run off.All the girls flowered nicely and all of them were healthy throughout the grow; no problems with her at all.

The final product was nearly 2 ounces (56 grams) per plant and the driedflowers had really nice appearance. Tight, hard, somewhat elongated buds. Prettiest I've grown and I can see why this is Delta 9's flagship strain. Really beautiful nugs with high bag appeal. Taste and aroma is as described above; distinctly sweet.

The effects are exactly as described in the description above and I didn't develope much tolerance with daily use; I am probably considered a light user at .5 gram a day. I was able to do photo processing for hours while under it's affect and the quality of my work was high. Loved working under it's affect. Don't know what to tell you about the effect if you over do it because I know my limit and don't over do it becasue I want to have a good experience. It's potent so you could probably get as fucked up as you want. To each his own.

I personally didn't experience any negative side affects. The onset of the high was qucik for me and the ride was a pleasant one from start to finish. Smooth sailing.

Cannasutra is one of my favorites, Ican recommend it highly and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with her.
