INDOOR/OUTDOOR

Aptly named for its low profile (both literally and figuratively), Lowryder was developed for extreme rapid growth (life cycle is 8 weeks from seed to bud), uniquely short height, and amazingly versatile. Lowryder is stable and reliable in its properties, a product of nine generations of selective breeding, and is non-deviant and hermaphrodite-free. Lowryder claims direct descendance from superior William’s Wonder and Northern Lights no.2 indica, as well as a more exotic, virtually unknown short variety believed to be descended from “Mexican Ruderalis,” an experimental cross created over 25 years ago.

Passing directly from the seedling to the flowering stage, Lowryder altogether does away with the vegetative growth stage, in a process called autoflowering. In other words, when planted, it sprouts, grows a couple sets of leaves, then immediately and automatically begins flowering (males at about day 17, females at day 20). As a result, it is the quickest, most compact, and most discrete plant available.

we've relied on the LR strain and variants thereof for 4+ years, harvesting mature beauties between 12 & 29" high and (aeroponic, CFL/HPS w/ mycorrhizal "inoculant") almost as broad manageable aroma, short season (9ish weeks) and the most wonderful quality, photocycle insensitivity. We often go 20+hours right through flowering. kudos to JD

I grew out 5 of these with mixed results 1 mutant herm went from male to female and then self pollenated before the others showed sex i culled it....definately a very rudalis pheno and then got 2 males and 2 females one of the females had mutant leaves that didn't even look like weed and had the highest yeild the other female was short and one cola one male streached really high and the other was short and matured earlier. I would have loved to gotten seeds from the mutant that did not look like pot for guerilla growing but none of the males gave pollen... maybe i didn't have enough light? i used a 150 and a 70 watt hps vert with a cool tube the plants less than 3 inches from the bulbs in dwc 2 gallon buckets with earthjuice organic fertalizers i used less because i know that they like less nutes i used hydroton and net pots. the 2 females netted 2 grams... which was expected with the low watt lights which i am sellin and buying led lights and will be testing the other 5 seeds i have with that and a bigger dwc system so another review will be in order at that time. Overall a very interesting strain that i will try and keep if i get pollen next time.
