The word carnival reminds you of a happy atmosphere all around, to Venice and the thousands of people dressed like centuries ago, or to Rio, Brazil, where millions of people go crazy just for a few days a year. This strain has been designed to bring the carnival into your mind. The entire process of selection and crossing has been made in Spain. This is a cross between a Haze mother and a particular individual mostly sativa as father. Carnival has an extremely high content of thc: the laboratory test on our sample has shown an amazing 23,2%. This is not the only good note, the flowering time is really short for a plant that is 80% sativa.

I grew out a 5 pack of the fem Carnival seeds. The plant seems to be very stable and consistent. All plants were very similar, with only very slight variation in aroma and bud structure. The base smell seems to be of an Afghan or an old Skunk plant. I had one pheno with a very deep dank pungency, and one that had the same base smell, but with a sweeter/fruitier tone. The others were ranged in between. The plant is mostly sativa, as evident from the thin leaves and the growing pattern. Although most all buds, including the lower sites, all fatten up real well and produce hefty nuggage. A couple of the plants were stressed a bit, and I let a couple go long, and not one male flower. The resin production of this cultivate is unmatched! Only a slight brush against a ripening bud leaves a sticky residue. Also, the smell of these resin bombs is fairly subdued until you do brush against one, and then the funk starts to flow. During the past year I have grown these and their revegged plants, as well as cuts from each. I had one plant that took a very long time to reveg. Maybe 45 days before new single leaves started back. Another started producing single reveg leaves in two weeks of 20/4. I also threevegged one of the plants after taking the harvest from the reveg. This plant produced several single leaves within a week of 20/4! One of the fastest reveg's I have witnessed. This second reveg also seems to have increased the resin production, as it is now producing trics all the way out to the ends of the leaves, even the big fans! Although it did seem that the threeveg plant was quite a bit more stretchy and whispy than it did during previous flowerings. What makes Carnival a keeper is the buzz! This weed will bring on an immediate rush. I am serious when I say that you should not drive and toke this weed. Do it before or after the road, as it can bring stars with a good pull! I experimented with different mediums and methods, and found a simple 2 gallon container w/50coco/50ffof treated as a soil grow, handwatered w/PBP, blackstrap to produce the best results. Carnival is a heavy producer in the right conditions. Top her early and bind her up...she loves it. A two week flush with plain water brings on lots of colors and a very smooth taste. Although be warned that Carn is a heavy hitter and will bring on the cough just about guaranteed with a huge pull! This is the jar you will keep going to. It is also the one that friends ask you about, always wanting to know if you can get any more of that killer? This pot keeps the grower happy both on the stalk, and after the cure.
