This limited outdoor edition of Krystalica is an easy to grow, robust plant especially for outdoor cultivation. She will produce high yielding, resinous buds with an exceptional calyx-to-leaf ratio. The plants have a good resistance against pests and mold, and they can withstand high summer temperatures and ocassional spells of wet or cold weather. These features make her the ideal choice for an outdoor sativa. Outdoor cultivation is recommended in regions with warm summers and up to the 45° longtitude. In more northern climates the performance and harvest date will depend on local weather and hours of daylight.
Type: mostly sativa
Planting time: March till end of June
Height: 1,5 to 3 meters (depending on planting time)
Yield: 400 to 800 gr. dry weight (depending on plant size)
Harvest: October
Effect: long lasting sativa high, euphoric, creative, energetic
We recommend planting the seeds in June if you wish to grow shorter plants. The average height of potted plants will be about 1 meter and in soil 1,5 meters. For maximum yields plant the seeds beginning of March to April. The mature females can then reach a height of approx. 3 meters and develop impressive flower power on all shoots. Check the buds for mold if very cold or wet weather persists in autumn. Remove any suspicous looking or infected buds. Krystalica has good mold resistance but should be harvested if it rains almost daily in the last 2 weeks of flowering.
Indoor: Krystalica can also be grown from seeds indoor in soil. In hydroponics we recommend only the use of clones due to the enormous vegetative power of this strain. She will make a very vigorous mother plant. Cuttings should be put into flowering early. Plants from seeds can be pruned or tied down to control height if necessary.
