I grew this strain out for the first time years ago. If I remember correctly, I grew it in a medium of 50/50 worm castings and perlite, with plain tapwater and a quarter of a table spoon of (long fermented) worm tea.
Crazy, but it was the healthiest plant I ever grew, very green, nicely spaced internodes. If I grew it today, I would add some bonemeal for Phosphorus, because after veg I did have a lot of leaf death. In flower, I fed it bat guano tea and later on a little P/K 13/14 (which really only should be used in hydro, but it worked). It was a hamfisted experiment that turned out well.
What makes Tanzanian Magic stand out from all other marijuana is it's high. The high is overpowering, blazing and psychedelic. The high has been described as 'electric', and it does make the little hairs on your arms stand straight on end.
The first time I smoked it (with a little cissor hash collected during trimming added), I was 'out' for 4 times. Compare it to the effects of magic mushrooms and psilocybin, where the high comes in waves, and between the waves you're sort of cognisant, until you get pulled back in. That was my first experience smoking Tanzanian Magic.
I haven't smoked anything as intense before or since. No offense to anyone, but Afropips (another South African company), etc. have nothing on African Seeds Company.
