Wild Sour D Grow Notes

I grew 3 plants from this seed batch and 3 from a kushy cross I made with a dad from this seed stock. I am fairly new to growing and have worked with bagseed with some success but mostly justdecent stuff. This one was a great find and I'm glad to have some of it in reserve. I don't know much about its origin but it is a kick ass sour strain. I love a good sour sat/dom. I could have run her another week and it would have only gotten better, 64 days was plenty though.

Glad you like it Al! I am going to make seeds again eventually. It is pretty tasty stuff, like sour candy.

In total this grow I had 6 plants under 4 CFL bulbs.2 23w warm spectrum 1 23w cool spectrum and one 33w warm. so 102w and my total dry yield was 27.7g. So total of .27 g/w. I think there is plenty of room for improvement, but will never compare to the .5 or more g/w you see in hps grows.

Nah, no way. CFL's are just fine for growing a little bit but yield will never comparebetween 150w of CFLto a grow with 150w HPS. I think you can grow wonderful flowers with CFL's though, and its simple and easy to setup. Great choice for a noobie, but we all have to graduate eventually.

Looks good. Thx for taking the time :) Do you find the cfls are better than a 250 hps or 175 hps?
