Sativa LoCo Grow Notes
Sativa Loco...

Grow report:

I would suggest Sativa loco for experienced growers and warn
novice growers of pour returns if grown improperly or not given
the flowering time needed...

Sativa loco is a medium sized plant with a couple Heavy leaning
Sativa phenotype's seen thus far and I believe between the
2 main phenos expressed you will find slight variances including
Indica leaning expressions, yet would expect either :

A medium(3"-4') bushy plant with 1 or more main colas stretching
around 3 feet with lower lateral branching and fair to
good internode spacing as well fair to good stacking of node's...

A slightly smaller version of the above yet more a single
main cola and lesser stacking of nodes...

Sativa loco looks to be on the leafy side yet I believe
this can be reduced given tailored feedings and proper environment
is a must with her as her mother carried the stressed induced male
flowering and it would seem at least some plants will
flip if given any excuse.

Be it major stress or a accumulation of minors stresses
that triggers this trait needs further exploring...

Given mom was a Bag seed from 1980 Mexican weed
found in So.Cal and stored by a breeder that knew
what he was doing.
The occasional instability should be expected yet not the
norm by any means...

Sativa loco was a breeze during both vegetation and flowering
for me and though not the frostiest lady in most gardens.
Her dark green fan leaves and over all coloring makes
for a visually enjoyable grow..

I would not recommend De-Fanning until 60 days into flowering
with a majority of fans taken by day 80,
expecting most plants finishing with 100-120 days flowering times...

There may well be shorter flowering phenotype's within SL
yet I dont not believe I have seen a 70-80 day plant, either in my
garden or that of testers, yet...

Smells during VEG were mild with the typical "weed" smells
enhanced to light skunky/zesty aromas with
broken/rubbed leaves.

Flowering smells were zesty, earthy non-typical aromas
that increased once flowers forming, never reaching an
overwhelming stank yet again.
I believe I have been taking my Sativa loco ladies early
at 78-80 days...

Yields will be low if taken early being a Sativa you will have
fluffy/airy buds without much weight.

I believe if given the time needed SL would fill in her flowers
and be worthy the 100+ days needed...

I also suspect her head/body effects(Highs)
Would be enhanced and wonder if the length of high
might also last longer than a couple hours when a good amount
is enjoyed...

Smoke Report:

Having given her a very slow cure with 10 days of hanging
with high RH and good airflow and not sampled till brown bagged
and then jarred for a few weeks while camping
in the great outdoors.

Her nose from the jar is that of classic earthy mild skunk
almost musky aroma, once crushed it becomes
a sweeter version of earthy undertones of roasted oats or nuts...

Not overwhelming nose to her but she does smell..

It actually reminds me of my Mid-grade Mexican weed...
Stoked!!!

Her smoke is smooth and taste like she smells with
a slight sweet roasted tone to it...
Pleasant...

Her head is mellow, lingering in back of the head and really
felt throughout the body with a sensation
warmth and overall wellness.

Id say it motivational and a good day use or conversation smoke.
Great with friends or at parties and having smoked 4 fat joints
over a few hours I found no ceiling of amp or couch...

Effects lasting fairly long I found she gives the body 1st then
sneaks into the head and the body remains yet the
head fades and increases a few times then simple fades
after a couple hours...

Smoking more increases the euphoric head feelings
yet not the length of high and I didn't notice a change
in the body effects between joints or with increased smoking...

No couch lock felt at all nor was there any AMP to her...

A nicely balanced clear thinking buzz with nice body effects
would sum Sativa loco up nicely in my book...
