Hericules Grow Notes
This strain was very easy to grow. Mold resistance was excellent. Drought tolerance was good.

Phenotype A was slightly more indica. Very round. Some of the mid-level buds were as big as the tops.

Phenotype B was slightly more sativa. Pine tree shaped. It didn't like the lower pH levels as much.

The plants tolerated pH levels between 5.5 and 6.3. PPMs never exceeded 800. Used 5 gallon smartpots and fed 2 gallons at a time with a pressure sprayer. Also, blumats delivered either water, 1/4 strength or 1/2 strength depending on the stage.

The LEDs were custom panels from China. Wattages were measured with a meter. 2x4 tent for veg, 4x4 for flower.

No real flush. Only cut out N for the last 2 days.

A harvest day pic with phenotype B in the front:

Very happy with these plants:
  • Hardy as fuck: the B pheno even revegged and survived a flood (and the mold that that entails).
  • Cured smooth.
  • Good potency. This is roughly equal to top-shelf dispensary strains in Colorado atm.
Hoping to improve on later grows:
  • Calyx size
  • Yield
  • Leafiness
Next time around:
  • Smaller pots (3 gallon)
  • More frequent feedings
  • Less dilution of the blumat feed
  • Flower with closer to 1kW of LEDs

Looks great bro... I also grew these before. It was about a two years ago... It turned out great, I was very happy with the results... I ended up with only one female though... I was happy with her... I would grow this strain again if I had the chance to...

Been growing this for the last 3 years or so. Like you say, tough plant and great producer with the right mom. I'm getting 5-6 ounces per plant with a 30 day veg from clone and the high can be surprisingly sativa-like in some plants. Very nice strain for me both for yield and for smoking.
