Aurora Indica Grow Notes
Grew two girls up from a 5 pack of feminised Nirvana Aurora Indica. Vegged the two girls that popped for exactly one month in a small tent setup under 1x 130w CFL then flipped to 12/12 under a 250w HPS bulb. Soil was my own mix of organic soil. Both girls appeared identical to each other throughout the whole grow. There was very little variation in phenotype across the board between the two. This strain loves cooler temperatures, watering and trimming. I watered with nothing but plain water from seed through to harvest and only added some black strap molasses to my waterings during flowering. After a 5 day dry and 14 day cure, the girls were ready to smoke. The high takes a couple of hits to come into effect but then slowly creeps on and descends the body into a whole body stone very quickly. A definite indica classic that would be wonderful for medicinal users, particulary anxiety, pain and insomnia sufferers. The flavour and smokeability of the buds is enhancing with every day it cures. I even gave my friend a small sample of the buds and he said it was the best weed he's ever smoked! Would highly recommend to anyone. I will definitely be growing this one day down the line again!

I very much agree with the grower. Great smoke. It has an excellent relaxant effect that, with some care, shouldn't leave you stuck in bed. It uplifts the mood, completely kills nausea, and pushes the appetite through the roof. It grows well and produces well (especially if you give her some extra veg time), and the final product is rather attractive, in my opinion. The flavor is excellent. Its tropical fruit flavors became very pronounced after the bud spent about a month curing. All who partook of this plant suggested that it was some of the best they had ever experienced. This is a plant I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to play on the Indica side of the road.

I am new at all of this. Can you tell me what your soil mixture is? I am presently using Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, vermiculite and perlite. I have tried different ratios of these and I am not really satisfied with any so far. I find they don't wet all of the way through. Hope you can help.

I grew this very same strain a few years ago and had similar results. I can say without a doubt that it was one of the least problematic grows that I have enjoyed... it is a good strain for both beginner and experienced growers. I may do this one again.

Nice grow report. We don't often see good grammatical sentence construction in these reports, so your report was a particular delight to read.
