I've grown this strain for a couple of years and it is a great producer... This strain is better for a grower with some experience, she's a big drinker and buds get huge and heavy, buds will lay over like tomatoes if left alone so support is a must. You also need really good ventilation due to large wet buds or you'll get mold (and or) powdery mil due. I don't keep a mom so I take cuttings of cuttings etc. but you do see some genetic drift after a year or so. Also sensitive to stress I've had her go hermie on me and had some go dwarf. But she's still in my garden :) I don't smoke but my patients like this strain, it's not the strongest but it has a really nice euphoric high that makes you relax. Yield is very good I get between 12.5 and 15oz. from three plants under 400 watt hps depending on my attention to trimming and training.

So hit somewhere around right around the 1g/watt mark give or take? . Nice! Were you growing from fem seeds? Thanks for some good info here. I've always wanted to grow it. Instead I got AK 48 seeds when I was a major newbie. It was the shit, very fruity and colorful with a wide variety of phenos, but definitely not AK47. Oh yeah, where did the pic go?

I didnt have any luck, grew out a full pack had 9 females, 2 hermed about 3 weeks in, the others were okay but had a spicy hay smell after cured. Was a fairly heady high. The only "keeper" pheno i would have said would have been one that leaned toward indica, had a mango/fruit loop smell to it. The mother would bounce between vegging and trying to autoflower so I trashed it. It does have some nice big cola's tho.

man ive grown out alot of ss ak47 like 4 packs or so and never had a dwarf, and out of 40 plants had one which had 1 sterile male flower and ive also never experienced genetic drift. you must have picked a very unique pheno there..
