| Thanks for all the comments guys I hope I have not misled anybody terribly but looking back on this grow I would rate this maybe 3 stars. It lacked the smell and lingering taste that any real chem should have. It also looks way different than chem does.
I gave this girl 2 or 3 runs before chucking her. She doesn't hold a candle to the stuff I run now. |

- when I read that I couldn't agree more. 2 of my trainwrecks tasted identical to the official Chemdog D to me than trainwreck. That pic too looks just like what my Trainwrecks ended up like. Yummy as hell I will say, but true to chemdog I'm not sure. |

G'day,all.
I recently had the pleasure of sharing a meal with Arjan.
We talked for quite a long time,and I came away from our meeting absolutely positive of several things:
1)Arjan is totally committed to the cannabis movement.
2) The Greenhouse is a good,solid company,with an interesting breeding plan that makes sense to me,though it didn't,before.
3) GH's feminised seeds are as solid as femmd seeds can be,and they're breaking new ground in this field that's quite exciting.
4) Arjan is a genuinely nice guy,open, straightforward,and very good at what he does.
5) Tons of GH's overhead goes into R&D,and the Dutch government isn't trying to make life in easier,in fact,it's trying to cripple the industry.
....and there's more,but I shan't go on....
In the spirit of cooperation,I left Arjan a list,for Franco,of clones that Reservoir would make available to them,if they'd like,to further their breeding programs.
It was a pretty good size list.
(Insert audience gasps)
Ah,also,I'd say GHS' "Trainwreck" is the Arcata Cut,I checked some out,along with some other herb,over lunch.
Their Cheese was absolutely stellar,as was the food and the Moroccoan hash.
All in all, it was an enjoyable meeting,and I expect to run into Arjan again in the future.
So we're clear,gang,I have No Issues with Greenhouse,at all,any more.

| Nah I grew their trainwreck it was nothing like this. The trainwreck has much larger calyxs and a different color plant altogether. |

| Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping I can take her this week due to some timing issues, but the trichs are still clear and pistils just don't look ripe. She is so hairy too! I just don't see how GHS can say 63 days. She is hella funky though! |

| Well I had a few different phenos. The first one I took at 75 days, that was my keeper.
The rest of them were taken around 85 days.
I took one around 100 days but I believe my own grower errors stunted it. It was a very sensitive plant but it was only 1 out of the 5 and the only one I did not like. |

| I notice you say 75-85 days flower. How many days did you end up going? I have one going that is at 75 days and still showing white pistils. The breeder claims 63 days and there was no way she would have been ready yet at that point. |

| I just finished a run of Chemdog from the same breeder. I got HUGE yield but I too thought that it would be more "funkier", my patients love it though, I'm just not a huge fan myself. |

It seems like they had plenty long to develop this as they announced the Chemdog in like 2008. There really is no reason they could not use the Chemdawg cut it seems like it's quite available to most dutch breeders now.. but here we are!
To be fair there wasn't that much variation, though!
I have have not heard that SL, but it would make sense. I did a lot of reading and the problem may be that the Apothecary "Chemdawg" is not the real deal. Thanks though I appreciate your kind words :)
The search continues for some of that funk..
Now for what's next.. I do not like the reports I've read on the Sour Kush but I smoked my buddies chocolope and that's something I'd consider buying.. I've read many glowing reports about it. I actually went with CaliConnection OSD so we'll see how that goes in a few months..

| yea man, im sure this but still ok .... like, they cant be so bad, but to be honest, i was not expecting a lot from a chemdog strain ...made by Greenhouse, whatever the shit they said ... by my experience, greenhouse always release strain too fast, like, they juste want the money from the name ..... breeding is most of the time poor... bad stabilisation....multiple phenotype, and all and all ...some time shwag like bud... ahaha greenhouse are definitly not my favorite breeder, but i still think this bud can be good :) .... anyway, if you want to try a really nice Chemdog Strain .... (70 days flowering) go for Reserva Privada - Headband (aka sourkush) .... this is what you can expect from a chemdog strain ! pure ACID ! ahahah... DNA and Reserva Privada made fukn good breed with the chemdog, and they master this strain ! ok, thanx for your report broo ! |

The reason it's not what you thought is because GH didnt use chem dawg to breed this from what i've heard. You did a great job on the grow though! :respect: SL |
