Northern Lights Big Bud Grow Notes
Started with 3 seeds in early august in rockwool cubes on seedling mat. Vegged for about 5 weeks before weaving the three plants into a 36"x36" screen. Switched to 12/12 in early october and thought that I had over-scrogged and the buds would form intertwined into the screen. Bahahaa! Not so. Slowly a lot of colas rose up and kept going. I thought they had stretched too much and it took forever for them to fill in but they did. I flowered for 3 months before harvesting but it was worth it!

The plants were in 9" hydroton netpots in 3 gallon buckets. I drip feed them from a 12 gallon res. I got 2 extra oz from the plant I used a larger block of rockwool on. It stuck up 2" above the netpot so I assume it allowed for a better root system in the pot directly under the 3 drippers per plant.

My PH control was haphazard sometimes and my ppm meter didn't work so I winged it and still did OK.

Great report. I have an old NL x Big Bud pheno that goes 11 weeks not sure what company it's from but the cut is at least ten years old.

Peace,
KF

Man! thats a long flowering time for a 45-55 day expected flowering time plant.
I'm currently doing this strain with 3 phenos.Cuttings are just being vegged.
I've grown a lot of N.L. strains and never have they took more than 55 days, and excellent yielders.
Nice grow by the way.

I have about 20 of these as well as 48 Cheese/Exodus Cheese clones in my first grow, which is going great. I am hoping these NL's perform well in SOG.
