My friends and I grew the original Brothers Grimm back from 1999-2005 . Probably one of my all time favorites over the years .Then we lost our mothers to mites, so I was stoked to get these beans and have c99 in my stable again. All 10 seeds popped and were very vigorous. Out of the 10 we got 6 females, males were chopped . The 6 females we found would make any grower happy . Some were faster, with lower yield and great grapefruit taste and soaring effect. WHile others showed more sativa growth and were airier and longer to flower . We also found two pineapple pheno's that had similar bud structure, soaring effect and nice yield.
Overall I think DG's C99 f2's are a great representation of the originals ! Good selection of pheno's that will make any grower's mouth water and forehead sweat! I would recommend anyone who loved and lost c99 , to snatch up a pack of these before they're gone.
Also for medical patients- c99 has been a very uplifting happy med for my patients. Relieving anxiety and helping them cope with their day to day stresses. In addition to this it has also been effective at relieving AIDS related peripheral neuropathy . While not as effective as some stronger Indicas , it does give relief while still being able to function.
