Chocolope Grow Notes

This was my second complete grow , First with DNA Genetics Chocolope.. Well to start off very easy to grow only had a chance to check it every two weeks and had an experienced feeding her turned out pretty good. Sure it could have been better, cause i had two others plants(Barneys LSD, Delta 9 F.O.G.) in the closet and yield turned out bad cause of the heat . But this one showed no signs of stress. for a Sativa, she stayed short, grew like an indica. real bushy , real short node spacing. Kinda wish i was able to clone this one, cause i needed short plants. The smell was more lemon toned , really didnt smell like weed. I grew them with The General Organics line. Im gunna grow another from seed, hopefully i can get something almost the same. Now im equipped to clone so ill be fine but all round loved the strain ... Really got me on the DNA Gen. Train.. 8/10

.Oh yea and trichromes were crazy....

That short, bushy pheno is the 1 to have - just incredible ! High energy super excellent sativa effects in a short grow frame. Letting it go a little longer 7-10 days gives a very trippy Thai influence. Very under-rated, a true outstanding gem. Tastes so good too.

Nice. yeah chocolope is one of my personal favorites. have you seen the new chocolope kush? Genetics : Chocolope x Kosher Kush!!!!!!!

Outdoors these get very large. Grew a half dozen of them and all were over 12 feet when done, the tallest being 14. Very dank, fruity, and sweet buds.

Not sure Mrhidef, but if you are using a MH bulb than that could be a huge reason your plants are stretching much......HPS is better for that reason, better in 12/12 that is....

I saw 2 phenos of chocolope and I tell you that quicker is better for me :) Awesome strain! Love it!

its wierd b/c im growing another one indoors in a tent and its still short like a half inch in between nodes.and really short but has sativa leafs

very nice report mrhidef. i'm considering it for a future grow. it sure looks like alot of leaf on that bud. i'm still getting over a backache from trimming up a leafy plant
