Took MUCH longer than 50-60 days...it took 90! Wasn't worth smoking any earlier, no high, and what you got was short lived. It's decent smoke now. I waited until the trichomes were 1-2% amber before taking her...she was still throwing new flowers. The high is typical, nothing special, not "up and soaring" just "high" and it lasts about 2 hours. VERY low ceiling...one hit or a hundred...it's all the same. Good mellow weed for doing something during the day. I'm smoking it now. No burnout. It had a slight lemon smell when early flowering...but it's gone. No smell really. No taste either. Though tastes good vaped. A vaporizer brings out some flavor.
Overall...just OK. It won't impress.
I only got 1 female, this is a limited sample. Everyone else seems to love it...maybe I got a bad one...
Easy to grow...fit right in with everyone else, no special needs or complaints.
I'll try it again and update as appropriate. |

I had just this one female. I'm hoping it was a fluke...I used one of the males to pollinate my other girls...this Apollo11, a CindyHaze (Wally Duck C99xHaze), Satori, Barney Farm LSD, Afghan, and Mexican Bagseed. I'll probably chuck the Afghan, and Satori seeds because the phenos I ended up with were horrible...ALL leaf! They're like smoking fan leaves there's so many leaves. I gave all the bud to the wife...I won't smoke it.
Yes, there's a ceiling... In fact, yesterday the wife and I smoked a big fatty joint and I felt the same as if I had smoked one or two tokes from a bowl. It was a complete waste of weed. You get pretty high from one or two hits...don't get me wrong...it's just that any more doesn't do anything. I was ready for more an hour or so later. BTW, I smoke a lot...every day. I'm old and retired and this is my new hobby.
I don't like "sleepy weed" either...except at night. This is "up" weed...but not anything "trippy" or paranoia inducing. It's just not strong enough for that...this plant anyway.
This looked "typical" in stature, a nice central cola and small budded branches. In fact, it was my best yielder. I've got some other pictures in my album, this picture was a nice close up of the cola. And you're right...not much "frost" at all. My LSD and CindyHaze frosted the best and smelled the best. I've got high hopes for the A11 cross with them.
Believe me, I tried to chop it sooner. It's supposed to be a 50 day plant...not in my garden it wasn't. I took buds at 50, 55, 60, 65, 75, and finally 90 days before "I" thought it was ready. Before 90 days it had a weak buzz that didn't last for shit. 15 minutes later you'd be ready for another hit. Even now, I mix the A11 with the others because it just doesn't get me high enough. I'm sure it's mostly tolerance.
Thanks for your comments and I hope my male passed on some better traits! I had high hopes for A11...

I grow organic/soil and A11 is one of the least flavorful, least odorful plant yet. |
