Grapefruit Fly Grow Notes
Grapefruit Fly flowered out buds of stash quality for me with little effort and a great amount of tolerance for mistakes.
A cross of sweet pink grapefruit and a c99 dad, this is an upbeat anytime smoke, a little more relaxed than C99, no noticeable nervousness or loss of control that I have experienced with high doses of c99 before. There is a slight loss of coordination with this smoke in larger doses and a cup of coffee has been needed with this smoke after a couple of hours.

THe flavors have ranged from super sweet almost fruit punch like that linger on the lips to sour notes that remind me of sour diesel. One plant had sweatsock general c99 sweetness while a couple were somewhat mild in scent period. I am still curing this herb so we'll see where the nose goes.

Some plants were reaching amber before 8 weeks and done. On average I would say a 60 day median of finish times for me.
Main shoots are strong and didnt require support through flower.
Stretch varied quite a bit between plants but could have been due to the rootball.

Due to a busy schedule and little space I used a different soil approach which caused poor root development in young veg. The plants never developed a solid healthy root system and suffered for it in yield. pH was affected by the soil changes and a bit high throughout.
Bottom line, she was graceful about my errors and produced beautiful, top quality flowers despite me. This cross is capable of alot more than I allowed her to show. This is a beginner friendly strain that will please the grower new or seasoned.

Nice detailed report mate, nicely done. I gotta say if that's what your buds look like as the result of a grow gone wrong then you definitely have some skills, that's for sure. Very nice pics as well by the way...
