White Widow Grow Notes
This grow report based on a single GHS White Widow from one of their 'Black and White' colored female seed packs.

This was an average plant in most respects. Fairly easy to grow and didn't require much attention at all. She exhibited medium side branching and steady growth throughout veg. The stretch on this particular pheno was quite manageable, I'd say about a 2x. I wouldn't call her a high odor strain by any means but there def was a faint smell in flower. The buds, when touched, released a very sweet and almost grapey smell. There were also a few buds that emitted a bit of sap as well. The main cola on this girl was one of the most dense buds I have ever seen....rock hard. The dry, trimmed wieght totaled 62g and the main cola accounted for over half the total wieghing in at 37g.

The smoke from this girl was enjoyable but not overwhelming by any means. The buzz leans more to the indica side and hits me mostly in my legs and lower body with a slight head high that lasts for an hour or so. I found her to have a fairly low ceiling as well. The taste was again, average but enjoyable, full bodied and thick with a musky hash aftertaste.

I grew Widow by Greenhouse and it was good yield, but bad taste, average high. I tried then Seedsmans White Widow... Same... nothing special as they were describing it like WOW... No way. I found dozen better tasting, smelling and more potent strains thant this Widows lately.

Anyone know anything about "Widow 2004" by De Sjamaan that apparently won a Highlife Cup in 2004. I can't find much info on De Sjamaan, any would help?

I have been growing White Widow for the last two years almost exclusively. My cut was originally from a club here in California, and I have to say that it is one of my favorite strains. Really mold/pest resistant, extremely sugary and big dense nugs.

I felt ripped off by my recent GHS widow. 2 females, both below average. I grew W. Widow from White Label seeds 7-8 years ago that blew away GHS in every way. I don't know what happened to GHS but both Widow and Rhino grows in the last few months were very disappointing and I'm no novice. Considering they bred widow in the first place this is a tragedy.

I usually let the WW go 70 days as I still want to be able to function (play music). The girl going now is from from seeds I got in 2002 that I forgot about in the freezer. It is really frosty at day 25 and should be kickin at day 70. bs

My WW definitly has a grape-ish fuel smell also,,, To get that knock out high I found she has to be let go into the 10th.,11th., 12th week! My first round w/ white widow I pulled it at 8 weeks, and the high was totally not there!!! Lesson learned!!! She is also very frosty, so frosty in fact, that when I cut up a bud, it has the feel of cutting fiber glass!?! Smoke to much widow & she creeps into your bones, making you an invalent! My 2 cents!

Hey 5lg I had my first experience with GHS WW recently I have to say that I agree with you on most parts, but I feel it is a victim of its own hype. I think I was expecting a knock you on your ass high, but was left somewhat dissapointed

Hello,

I've Got One At 15 Days. I Would Kill If It Came Even Close To Yours! I Wish You Could Share Your Green Thumb. Is There Anything I Should Do Special To Help This Little One? About When Was It Ready To Sex?

Thank You

Longhair
