light mover

i think if your room is 7x8 a 6foot literail would do you wonders. never used one but want 1. their about $200 bucks but it would pay for itself the first crop. plus another light would be more power. check it out 4 sure. goodluck SH36

A mover would be the cheaper of the two for sure. I was told that a mover would make your 1000watter like 1500 watter

Please, growers with experience post your thoughts. I've got a 1k light, and I'm going back and forth on getting a light rail too. There seem to be as many posts that say they aren't worth it as there are that do. So which is it? If it just helps the plants grow more evenly, well I rotate them anyways so that wouldn't help much. But if I could grow more plants, that would be worth it easily. Thanks!

buds wont be as dense , and heavy , u start runnin that mover over a 6 foot span and you'll most likely end up with airy buds . If u got a heavy yeilding strain u mifgt be able to get a good harvest , but stationary lights are THE way to go , bro. You'll save monet in the beginning but in the long run , no.

i agree with the fact if you move a light over 6 feet it wont be good. but a few feet wouldnt hurt. it works good for smaller enclosurs such as 3.5 x 4.5' with a 600 watter, moving it say 2-3 feet back and forth works wonders....

I just got a used one and am only gonna use it for veg. Are you referring to Flower only SS?
It was free so I'm gonna give it a go. Although this is a little discouraging. I was getting that good of light coverage with it setting still. I had to rotate the plants, which to me would be the same as using a mover.
