hi guys i have a quick? i have a relative that has had severe neck injuries in the past and now it is really affecting his life. work has gone down the shitter and he is on svere pain meds. percs are nothing to him.he is currently schedualed for a neck fusion in which the bones in his neck are fused together to ease the pain on nerves being pinched. now he is also very sick from alll the pain meds he is on.he actually had a morphine patch that he had to stop taking becuase it made him so sick.
now i wanna introduce him medical cannabis.i currently have sensi star in veg next to a few blockheads.are these strains med grade and suitable for the intent i have? if not any strain suggestions? sativa or indica? |

Indicas, if potent, can serve as a very nice pain relief.
Sweet Tooth comes to mind.

I am a firm believer in Sativa's for pain relief....since all the pain you feel orignates in the brain....I try to find the strains that take my head to another realm....

It can't hurt MassAss. First, cannabis may help treat the nausea he gets from his other pain meds. Second, he may be able to use fewer narcotics with cannabis. Third, his overall pain control is likely to improve. Sensi Star is an excellent choice.
Yours, Dr. Jay

yeh that was what i was thinking dr jay. hes is normally soo sick from pain meds like morphine to do anything. i went over to help with there business and in the middle of work he got so sick he puked right outside the door. the rest of the day was cancelled. so sensi star should be a good start? is there any strains that have been proven to help people with the problems he is having?

In my current battles with nausea and vomiting from chronic pancreatitis I've found that Train Wreck and Afgooey are helping a lot. Afgooey, I think, is actually some sort of Hawaiian Sativa and not an Indica. Sativa's help me most with nausea.
Here's a pic of the Afgooey which has been doing miracles for me lately. Yours, Dr. Jay
