Oz Outdoor 08-09
I have a small selection of wally's gear growing this year, all outdoor organic... not sure if I'll manage to get them into terra firma but thats ok cause I have plenty of lge containers... I rely on the plants taking what they need from the compost mix I make,, so I kinda don't need to feed them,,, well not with npk ferts anyway,,,, I feed the soil with compost teas & top dress etc. during bloom. The resulting taste is voluptuous! lol
so here whats on the menu... c99 x Grapefruit... c99 x Webbed Indica.... c99 x Calio,,, c99 x Blueberry,,, c99 x Panama Red... with a main course of 'Le Canard' - The Duck. hehe After taking all things into consideration I'm really looking forward to this season, should be a good one! I wasn't gonna post pics until they were a reasonable size,,, its a bit early atm. call these gap fillers if you like... these r a cpl wks old so i'll put in an effort to get fresh pics later. all mixed up but you get the idea No ducks yet they're still germing, but I hope I get the variegated plant again... that was different & fun to grow, and even better to smoke. I know I have forgotten something but I'm not sure what? ![]() stay safe guys

Thanks wally, only time will tell mate,,, wasn't sure if things were gonna work out at first.. I usually plan for a few plants to ripen before dec with the rest to follow later next yr, what with this unpredictable weather,,,, apparently its official now, we've just had the driest sept in 33 yrs, that's the 3rd record this yr... possibly a sign of things to come,,, as long as we have a nice dry autumn, right?
here's a definite good sign of things to come... 6 wks from germ, 75% fem all budding up nicely... (mainly 1 ft plants) the plan is for these to be finished in another 6 wks.... very happy with the internodal length on these. C99xGrapefruit... unlike this fem, the male has a more sativa profile the ducks with some more grapefruit & blueberry seedlings all survived a 2 degC frost earlier this wk,, didn't burn them or slow them down one of the local fellas sent me this, reminds me of an old tech drawing template. hehe

heya smurf ,, ,mmm u got me thinking now ,,, your low overnight temps seem to indicate u are from the colder reaches of the country ,, yet u can flower them before the end of the year .. whats your secret mate ??? hehe
certainly looks like youll be harvesting some ladies early by the pics , hope the weather warms up for u ,, it seems to be those warm nights that really gets them going .. on the weather ,, i agree on some changes ,, its raining here again , middle of the dry season , unusual but not unheard of , giving me a helping hand really as long as it doesnt stay around too long .... |

Hello down under, from up top.
Easy there smurf. Just got some outdoor crop myself. Nice to see that as my harvest comes in,so your season is already up and running. I'v decided i need to move into a bigger house, with a large garden. To many negative factors with regards to growing in my yard, but it shall never stop I. Our season this year has been crap, to say the least here in the UK. June-Sep was generally wet, windy and overcast. Now it's Oct and the skies have cleared. But still the odd wet day (but that's to be expected). Anyhow, why do wanna hear about dreary Blighty. Nice grow so far mate, i'll be watching your ting. Pukka selection. Good luck Peace Tc

G'day fellas,, been slightly busy this last wk, had some friends down from up your way wally,, talk about run a muck, lotsa raging & bbq's etc then throw in a ASO plays Pink Floyd concert (Adelaide Symphony Orchestra) + cover band,,,, you should have heard great gig in the sky!!.. not sure if I'm Arthur or Martha atm, lol
so hows this... we just set another record with the bloody weather again.... the driest spring on record was back in 1893,,, thats #4 record this yr!!! from what I've heard around the traps this yr everyone has been hit hard by mother nature, anyway these guys have been soldering on... 3 wks ago today,,, the ducks are the easiest to spot C99 X grapefruit C99 X webbed indica sorry I was in a hurry taking these pics. still have another tray of seedlings to repot and those budding plants have filled in all the way down to the pots nicely,,, looking forward to see how the rest go by next april/may.
