SFV OG Kush BX#1
Out of 6 seeds 4 cracked 2/2 M/F ratio. For the price I'am not complaining. still have another pack left! Anyways I got one thats very tall and lanky @ 6'3" to be exact
and another more squat. I had like 15 different kinds of strains, all cramped up so they really had no other way but to grow up. They were both flowered at just under 4'. These pics are approx. at the begining of either week 4 or 5? Now as far as the smell goes, I can't really tell which smell belongs to which. I got some Chem d BX1s and strawberry d's under the same light so THEY ALL REEK! Ok first we have the tall and lanky Next we have the shorter one Let me know what you guys think. All inputs are welcome even negative ones as long as they are in a respectful and polite manner! If not I'll have to get the Capt. to Zap! you. Thanks to the Capt. and Mr.Swerve for making this grow possible...............Peace!

well you have quite a bit a ways out still i would say on the tall lanky on try to start plling her over slowly if you can with a string.. you might be able to get her to come down a bit for ya and really expose the branching it will help on yeild.

Sup' Swerve! Thanks to your pollination its possible for us e.coasters to experience smoking weed the cali way! now here's my issue; I have a '3.25x'3.25x6' grow hut. Do you think that she'll grow some more? cuz I have 9 ladies kind of cramped up in there. Even though she's 6'3" She still has maybe 2" b4 hitting the roof and is to the side of the lamp. all the ladies have been pruned so most of her bud sites are from the middle on up as you could see in the 1st pic. also another thing I hate about that damn hut in summertime is that if you're running DWC all that heat and water evaporates and traps humidity even with ventilation. and if leaves/buds touch the plastic-like walls they'll start to sweat and run the risk of molding. I'll follow your recomendations as you are the one who has the expertise with her.~C.37

Cartelero,
when did you flower these plants? How big was she? The stretching is going to happen, even though most of it stops around the third week or so. Give us more feedback on your grow. I don't know if Swerve has enough time to coach you through this one... |

They stayed under a 250w MH until Aug.11 exactly a week later when they were introduced to a 600w HPS. She was approx. 4ft tall. from my experience seems like she's going to be 70+ days, maybe even more. ............Peace!

wow some big plants cartelero.
the leaf curls are telling me that you need bigger pots. if you get bigger pots for plants so big you might get better end results. (not that your results now are bad, but you could improve results) nice job handling those monsters! |

I would have to agree w/ Brastman. Considering those beasts where probably rootbound 1/2 the time, not bad results at all. I think if you put em in 3-5 gallon container they would be a bit less stretchy.
Another way to keep plant stretch under as much control as the genetics allow is to reduce the Nitrogen when you go to 12/12 and increase the phosporsous. Then once budding and stretcing has slowed, you can resume reading your plants and feeding accordingly. I have 2 females and a male I just flipped to 12/12, Looks like I have a tall stretchy pheno and one that is much shorter w/ tighter nodes. They both wreak of skunk, astringent/Pinesol and are really pungent. :-) These look to be some stellar genetics for sure. Can't wait to see how the cuts grow in DWC! |

Sorry I'm late in responding guys
I've been working like a wet-back lately Then to top it all off I can't upload pics.Don't ask me Y ?Purkle:The stretcher is the 1 that made it through the re-veg. so as soon as I can get some clones ITS ON! What happened was that I got greedy and cramped up the flowering chamber with elite genetics(in seed form).danny karey:Thanks Man! The squat looking 1 was so caked in resin that I had trouble at times trying to figure out whether it was mold or resin! magnifying glass came in handy The other 1 was really root-bound, so we'll see 2nd time around.Brastaman: yeah that was my Bad thanks for stopping by.Demosthenes: Thanks for the tip I'll keep that in mind next round. I'll try to upload some nug snots. the only way that seems poss. is when I delete my old pics, but only have like 3 pgs @ 18 pics per pg...................Peace!
