well lets hear it what could your Mom or Dad cook that was or still is out of this world. My mom makes a mean brisket dinner. and my dad well its not a dish but he makes the best peach preserves in the world.

my mother makes tomato sauce out of the plums tomato's from our garden and she also makes gnocchi. man i could eat that for days straight. and my dad makes the best pancakes i have ever had.

Mom was quite the cook. French fried ice cream. Beef Wellington. Sukiyaki. Vichyssois. She was such a good cook, my married friends don't brag to their wives about their mother but, about mine. Drives the poor girls mad cause Mom died years ago and they're competing against a ghost.

Dad does well with guy-cooking. He can grill anything, makes a manly sandwhich and a great breakfast, especially outdoors. But, his pancakes ... not so good. Too deep fried for me.

well all those dishes sound great. cant wait to hear more im trying to get ideas of things to make cause my daily foodds are kinda getting bland

My dad, almost 80, makes me a big batch of boneless chicken, potato, and carrots in a cream soup marinade, good wholesome food. He sends the whole deal home with me, and I add garlic and hot peppers and slow cook for a few days of good eats. He has a different meal routine for my brothers, just as robust. He accepts my role as a freedom farmer, he taught me to garden. I showed him the borg on his tomato plants last week

chicken
nothing fancy, i so outdo my parents in the kitchen
