Has anyone used the 'crinkle leaf' Menage á Trois...

...in a cross yet? I'm talking about the Dreamgoddess pheno with extreme crinkle leaf mutation that you can just about see in the second pic below.

I accidetally pollinated this with a little NepJam pollen (that shit gets everywhere) and have only just gotten round to germing a few seeds. Well I have to say I've never seen seedlings like this before. I have 3 mutants and 2 more normal, I've seen the odd mutant before but nowhere near that ratio.

First 2 are extreme mutations with the blades on the fans fused and the last pic is the most normal one. Can't wait to smoke this stuff, 2 of the most potent smokes I've had recently.

Anyone else having this experience?

Hey reddy1 thanks for stopping by, they are very interesting looking aren't they? What did you cross yours with?

Here they are today, pretty sure this first one is the one you are talking about.

looks like it'll continue freakiness free.

This next one on the other hand looks to have picked up the old twisty leaf from the mum.

but this one is pretty straight looking. A little sativa looking too but I don't want ot guess at phenos at this early stage.

Seems all these have inerited the fathers dislike of N hence all the burning on the leaves.

Will update again when they look different

i picked up some hindu kush and skunk #1. looking for something stable, then backcross to the clone. i also have 1 more MAT seed to crack, looking for balls on it.

that male is 100% sativa? interesting. sounds like a nice 50/50 indica/sativa cross you got going there. looking forward to future pics.

keep up the good work.

Yeah the NJ isn't too stable at the moment as this is the f2 gen I think and the dreamgoddess is polyhybrid or possibly an f1 so these may be all over the place but outcrossing the NJ is supposed to yield great results.

There's a bit of debate about the NJ's sativa-ness, it has quite a wide leaf and an almost sturdy stature but the smoke is at least 95% sativa. Incredibly euphoric and cerebral, great stuff.

had to read up on the nepjam. sounds really cool. any fast flowering and potent sativa is great breeding and growing material. hope you find what you're looking for in those seeds. keep us posted for sure.

got a name for the cross? what do you feed young plants in coco?

Woah, that's a pretty picture there

No name as yet, I'm waiting for the flash of inspiration. Think it'll come when I smoke it.

Here they are today

as you can see the crinkle has disappeared completely. The sativa male seems to be dominant in structure while the smell when you rub the stems on these must come from the mum, really amazing fruity tangy smell that's nothing like the NJ. Getting excited for this cross.

Update!

couple of weeks into flower

the bottom pic looks almost like pure Nepjam. If you click on the pics you'll see a little of the crinkle has been passed on, just hope the aromas have too.

I'll show another nepjam cross I've done with a sativa for comparison

this one looks very similar to the one above

this one was more sat and had to be supercropped
