Light Problems
just got a 1000w HPS ballast, but have one of those MH/HPS w/red light added, bulb dealies...
Will this work? Will one of those bulbs run smoothly w/an HPS ballast??? My roommate also touched the bulb itself while removing it from the box... I wiped it down thoroughly w/a bath towel and was wondering if this would remove enough oil off the bulb so it won't explode when plugged in???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. - Bisquick |

That should be fine. Just make sure you wipe away the finger prints.
