a freind of mine had a kidney transplant about 10 years ago.his poision levels are always watched by his doctors and he was always fighting high poision levels in his system for years sometimes having to be hospitalized to get them down. then he met his girlfreind who smoked pot and he didn't oh yaers ago he had tryed it but didn't stay with it. but sense girlfreind smoked he started and they smoked for about 3 maybe 4 years.and for some reason his poision levels started dropping big time.doctors would ask if he had changed diet or something.cause they beleived he was doing something different to cause this.he didn't tell them he had started smokin pot (to scared)then his wife got a job where they drug test her. in last 6 to 8 months so he thought right thing to do was quit to and he did.with in that time his poision levels have sky rocketed they wanted to put him bac in hostipal again to get them down.that was last wednesday.so he came over to my house and got some weed to see for himself if it helps he talked them into waiting until monday to test again he told them he wanted to try something and if it works he's going to tell them what he done he has told me before he thought it helped him cause he can tell when his levels of poision are up anyway by how he feels.and when he has a smoked filled weekend he says on mondays he feels great.i'll know more tommorrow.

well he smoked weed for a week and a half before getting tested again and his level of poision has dropped from 2.4 to just below 2 and he said before weed. he would have to stay in hospital a week to get them to go down that much.but now he wont tell his doctor because he's on goverment program and is affraid they'll kick him out of it .if they find out he' smokin so he's just going to keep smoking and keep quite.

I'm on a donor list too. That's interesting. I'm scared for the same reason. I've heard of people having their medical standing and transplant status removed...
