Sweet Leaf during flush?
Anyone try Sweet Leaf during flush? I'm growing in soil and a buddy was saying its a good idea to flush with some sort of sugary carb. i've got sweet leaf and molasses not sure which would be better. sweet leaf has more goodies than molasses and i'm not sure if that would lead to harsher final product.. any help would be great.

So are you talking about the flush at the end of flower or the flush in like a feed flush feed routine , Sweatleaf affects the flavor of ur bud ive seen people use it in every watering in flower and just do a 3 day flush there weed burned fine but it tasted like sw you will know if you over do it id recomend using it at 1ml a litre untill the last 2 weeks of bloom used right it will give u a tastier herb imo.

Sweetleaf is a great product and probably will keep your plants alittle healthier but the main thing it does is effect the flavor some people like the stuff some people dont only way to find out if you like it is to try it for ur self . Molasses will mess up the flavor in the same way if used to long into flowering it will leave your buds tasting like molasses .
I dont think possible to burn your plants with sweet leaf not really much in there was is it like a 0.1 .0 .0 . The bottle says use at 2-4mls per litre i reccomended 1ml that seems like a pretty light dose to me, lots of people who grow in soil flush with carbs up untill the last two weeks before harvest then switch to plain water for the final streach. |

it's the cranberry extract that gives it the characteristic Sweet Leaf flavor.
that's why folks in my neck of the woods add all kinds of crazy shit: grape juice (white or concord), apple juice, corn syrup, kool aid, whatever...... it does work though, minimal hype for an AN product. LOL |

yeah i know. every time i try one of these new ideas, i end up with dead seedlings or burnt leaves... i have never tried any product during flush except final phase which honestly i couldnt tell any difference. probably cause i'm in soil. |

oh well, i've only got 2 plants coming down. i'll lighten the load next time if it takes away from the flavor too much. i love the flavor of bud, don't want to change it just enhance it

personally I like the plant to express it's own phenotypic aroma/flavor.
i don't use sweet leaf anymore for this reason. some strains that are low odor benefit from sweet leaf. the only thing I liked it on was bubblejack, and the regular bubblejack flavor by itself is amazing. think of it as ketchup. great for french fries. not so great for filet mignon. |
