I don't feed my deep chunks any kind of peeps. I find the sugar from the marshmallow is a bit too much
I do however, find DC is a moderate/heavy feeder in veg. Lucas formula works just fine for me. I've also had success with PBP with added cal/mag, age old organics and Fox Farm. Just watch for too much of a deep green color. That's a sign they are teetering on the edge of overfert. My normal schedul for most indica strains and hybrids, is water, water, feed. DC works well with water, feed regime. Welcome to HTC.

im only on my third set of leaves and topped the starters, as i heard they make Urkle look like a speed skater
now just seems in coco they are yellowing on the lower fan leaves when everything else is in the table is dark green looks hungry feeding 10 ml per gallon pbp ,cal mag and liquid karma.. recirculating coco , seems it wants more food im thinking right off the bat........Think im sprinkle some guano around the base of um~ thanks for the reply HEAVY FEEDERS Last edited by jack DA reaper; 08-19-2008 at 08:03 PM.. |

Umm....you might want to get a second opinion. I have never run them in coco. It seems there are different requirements using that medium. Like, much lower ph for starters. I hear some ppl going down as low as 5.5. Anyone give this grower some coco advice? Try an appropriate forum also. We know DC, but I'm sure you would get an expert using coco, in the growers forum, or the infirmary. Unless someone chimes in here.

my experience is based on the classic TH Deep Chunk and not the HTTC one but based on what i experienced in my indoor grow i would say it looks lots of N in flowering for its size but be careful with the flowering nutes.
i sometimes had to give them extra grow fertilizer but in flowering i had a slight nuteburn when i gave them same dosis as the other strains. i used Canna Tera Vega for grow and Canna Tera Flores for flowering and also some Canna pk 13/14 between 2-3 week of flowering |

Some thangs we found while growing DC : Needs plenty of leg room . Needs plenty o' ferts . Responds incredibly well to MH as apposed to Sodium bulbs . Sounds like you know bout tha Cal-Mag fer coco , good deal . I keep my PH around 5.6 er so ...
Hope this helps Steele |
