I have mixed emotions about this one.... I really don't know... so I'll just be honest...

Maybe if it was worded better?
...like..... a place for women to gather and talk about lady things that guys aren't interested in anyways....but I guess that titles to long eh?LOL
And I wouldn't be in that forum anyways since I would also find it uninteresting.
How about - ladies who are looking for other lady friends?....

I'm not disrespecting the forum by any means seeming as I am a female, It is cool to see how many other female growers there is.

I always have had all male friends... I just don't get girls too much..I don't mind them but they never really connect with me. I dunno why....probably the way I was raised or something, and my sense of humor. I just seem to think like a male..male stereotyped things are funner than the lady stereotyped things..

I guess if I was gunna have some female friends I'd probably find them here

but what if I am just as repulsive as the males?..and I probably am.

Truth is, I treat everyone the same and act one way..like myself...and ladies just seem to not dig it....so I don't know what to do with this forum... therefor I don't really see the point to it for myself... I can see why other ladies like it though....

My initial thought were I don't like it....its segregating.
I guess its b/c I'd feel left out if there was a male only forum....then where the hell would I go? lol
Thank god this is only one tiny part of ICmag is all I can say.... I just feel more comfortable when your sex has nothing to do with anything.

Hopefully I can find a place at the ladies forum..and enjoy it..I'm sure there are some cool chicks out there that I could be friends with, and I sure would like to figure the female perspective out some more. Having said that this is why males should be welcome and encouraged to come visit as well since I fall more into their category (not saying they aren't, just that the forum title isn't very encouraging).

Hey there!

after lurking about the women's forum, it seems that the guys regularly cruise through here and also post at their leisure. It's a little intimidating for me to leap into the pool of growers forums sometimes, even though I grow, even though I'm dialing in a wicked awesome room (of which I will post pix this morning)

A lot of times the threads are guys asking for femme opinions (Sometmies on weed sometimes not) -- It's a weird little corner of ICmag over here, the we grow chicks are a weird little population. It's not the most hopping forum, but it does the trick. I'd have rolled into the growers forums and thought that I would NEVER find another femme grower here if not for this forum... Even Dutchgrown and Mrs. Babba would have been lost in the sea of diaries and DIYs.

So, it's weird. And I am not sure of it's purpose, but I like it anyway.

That said, my RL girlfriends are few and far between. Heh. So, IC mag seems the place for me too, in that way.

Hi monad, If you would have looked at the threads and who has posted in here you would see that there are just as many men that post in here as women do, its not segragating anyone, just a little place to come and vent if needed, like ana said we would get lost here in this vast site, there are 50,000[almost] members.

Not sure why the hesitation here, there are lots of different sections, this one is no different. Anyone can post here and do

Monad please don't be offended that I am a man and replying to your post. I post threads with images here in the Womens forum every so often...I started the Flowers for The Ladies thread sometime ago here in this forum. We have seen it grow and the images there be appriciated by men and women. Mostly guys posting pix though and very few answers by women. I respect women and thier views...I really love to hear thier comments and appriciation of my images. My original intention was to post images for women to enjoy. We hope you can find a place to enjoy here too...it is a great web site with many very nice friendly members...DD

babba - Im currently growing Peak-19 again, and some bagseeds. Bagseeds are always fun to see what you'll get - and some crazy looking mutants!
I'll post some pics and maybe a grow diary. Im doing a comp on another forum - growing a plant in a coca cola can and seeing who can get the most bud out of it...that should be interesting...

concerning your subject *monad*....I think its really normal to feel the way you feel about women and especially that you think they don't get you

i'm almost 40 and have been married to my wife almost 15 years....she says exactly the same thing to me all the time....by the way

men and women are very different in relationships with each other....imo....from my viewpoint women are competing for men with other women in a different way than men compete with men for other women

concerning this forum.....i personally wish men spent more time in here talking with women and asking important questions...but most men...including me...lol...only care about getting women in the bed...as fast as possible

and that would be weird asking women about that in here.....*how can we get you in bed faster?*...wouldn't be a good question in here...lol

anyway....monad....don't let the subject woman/man bother you in here at all...just hang out where you feel most comfortable...to me it seems Ic Magers....are all cool
