zoo-Stick around, mate, this should be an interesting couple of months!
Y-Yeah...I like the early phase. It really keeps me on my toes, and it seems like there's subtle changes every day. 1 and 2 look nearly identical at this point. Cheers! NZjay! They're off, mate. I think I'll be running 3, but hoping for the best! SG-This is a unique one for me, too. I can't explain what happened, but the seed coat never fully came off. Sometimes I've seen a seed coat stick to a single leaf, but this one was stuck to the top of both cotyledon, kinda making an upright, like in the endzone. The rest of the plant kept groing- one side around it, the other side THROUGH it. Kinda trippy, and I wish I'd taken a good pic. My cam skillz are nowhere near many of the other posters here. If I get a male, I'll definitely make some seeds. Does anyone know what the smallest freebie amount you can send in?

exploziv-Welcome aboard! We're just getting started here, so make yourself comfy.
Professor-Glad you could make it! Well who says Thursday isn't a good time for quick updates? Anyone? Bueller? VH1: ![]() ![]() VH2: (looking uniform, here!) ![]() ![]() VH3: You can sorta see the "fused" cotyledon I was talking about in the 2nd pic... ![]() ![]() VH3 gets the "runt of the litter" award, but I've got a feeling it'll come out just fine. Runts rule! Well, Jay will be poppin' by with his update soon enough, and I imagine we're in for a treat. In the meantime, everyone take it easy!

I am definitely up for a Thursday update. Those babies look great. The growth rate of 1 and 2 are almost identical. And although pretty uniform, if you look carefully at the leaves you can see them already expressing different pheno's. #1 looks to be more of an indica pheno, its leaves are broad and squat. #2 appears to be more sativa leaning. The leaves look like they want to stretch out a bit, get long, and a bit more slender than the #1. It really is cool to see subtle differences in the pheno's of the same plant at such an early stage, I am really excited to see them grow out side by side. And as for #3, I really like that profile pic. That is some weird stuff, fused cotyledon. Lets see where that one goes. It would be so cool if that one turns into the keeper mom. |

nice one ombre! they look great. fusion didnt seem to slow her (hope hope) down though huh.
i thought i had a simliar thing going on with one of the G13D i popped a while back, but i used a needle, and pulled the seed shell off carefully... it was still a little warped and twisted, but the way the shell was on there, it didnt look like it was gonna fall off naturally.... so i stepped in ![]() glad i did... but as you know, my G13s were all males or hermies. lol.. ao it was all pointless in the end! lol.. ill be back Sunday/monday with my Venomhead update... we are seeing buds ![]() ill be updating the bunkbed in a few hours time though (waiting for lights to come on) so ill cyas over there. MM: thanx brother. good to have ya here man. Prof: welcome dude. thanx for the props! come on back! SG, Y: my brothers from another mother. edit: by the way, Shitake. you wanted to know when i start training?... by the look of yours, i would say in about a week, 2 weeks max. i know alot say 4-5th node, but i promise you can start as soon as you can get a nice grip on the center preflower. i start with a FIM, then wait a week or so... and then the LST begins, along with many more FIMs when the preflowers are ready. i do have a starting pattern - i could try to explain it if you really wanted too. but you have the height that i dont. so you might ONLY want to FIM... i dont know.. but im interested in watching ya!
